Did Michigan fans just storm the courts...because they beat UCONN? Or just because they won at all?

We could have been the worst undefeated #1 team in history! Oh well.
It is amazing how an 18-0 team in Kentucky isn't in the top 10 of most stat metrics (rpi, kenpom).

It mostly has to do with Kentucky's horrific schedule. A lot of the ratings have long seen through UCONN and UNC. The polls are in catch up mode.

Yeah we were blessed with the second weakest schedule to start the Big Ten season (Illinois had the easiest) and managed to lose two games. We should be 5-0 heading into this buzzsaw of games.

I'm finally able to post there! I bet this is what women felt like after getting suffrage.

edit: I can see why they're afraid of being labeled spoiled brats if they openly support getting rid of him but really no one serious is going to slander them after a season like this.

Wow Northwestern fans stormed the court after beating Purdue last night.

Awesome. My alma mater actually has a chance to the NCAA tournament for the first time ever in school history.

UT @ Kansas State is a toss-up. I hope Texas can block out the crowd and not get flustered. Also, it would be nice to grab a lead early in this one instead of waiting to take their first lead in overtime...lol

Don't know about never. If you never started shit I wouldn't know who you were :lol

You don't start shit anymore though I'll give you that :)

Well I didn't mean never ever in history. I just mean that these days I don't. At least not when it comes to basketball. Starting shit is bad karma. I'll pass.

I can't remember. Was it this persona you didn't like and my other one you did, or what?

Also Michigan gets more votes than Missouri? REALLY? The same Michigan team that is 10-7.

Yeah that is BS. We've lost to way too many average teams this year to be even be considered for a vote at this point.

Yoshi's Island still sucks. Damn baby Mario and his constant crying. New Super Mario Bros. Wii, however, is awesome.

Shit taste as ever. Although, New Super Mario Bros Wii is light years better than that shitty DS game.

edit: I HATE the unbalanced schedules and all you shitty football conferences (SEC etc) that made us adopt. Now Dook plays Klempsun twice in five ACC games. What kind of sense does that make? I'll tell you. No kind of goddamn sense.

Since huggy showed up the Bram has become a crazy hard place to play. Kstate can win for sure especially in that atmosphere as long as things go ok early and the crowd is kept in it. Clemente/Pullen need to hit from outside though..

Especially Clemente, like he did during the Aggie game. He can set the tempo and he's so fast w/ the ball that it can determine how you have to play them.

It's the only way, and I don't give a goddamn if they have to extend the season by 3 or 4 games to do it.

It's MUCH preferable to adding teams to the NCAA Tournament.

Make the conferences all have legit schedules and there won't be any right to bitch about who gets in (although obviously most of that bitching comes in the form of majors vs mid-majors.)

At least extending the regular season might give more incentive to scheduling the odd mid-major, as well as balancing out the schedules.

I miss ACC round robin, the conference schedule isn't nearly as fun without it.

The SEC is divided in two so that everyone in the East plays each other twice, and everyone int he West plays each other twice. We each play everyone in the other side once a year. An East champ and a West champ are crowned and given a bye in the first round of our tournament. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Yeah the first 1000 ppl get beards. Students were out early for this game. I read the first ppl in line got there at 3am

edit just saw your beard out post. Haha

Everyone who went to the KState @ UT game last year, including me, remembers Clemente. He scored over 40 points that game, and KState beat us in double overtime. He played damn well.

My point exactly, yeah, he blew up for 42 or 44 against Tejas last year. He was CRAZY hot from outside against the Aggies last week. We'll see.. he's really, really fast so when he's hot from the outside something has to give.

First tragedy, then farce.
Why the fuck is Bobby Knight allowed to call one of our games?

He hates us and our coach.

I don't think he has said anything positive about us tonight. In fact, he has resorted to making shit up about our teams psyche.

This is also being officiated horribly.

One possession you can murder each other. The next you can't touch a guy.

I have no idea how the players on either team can adjust to this.

Have you seen any KSU games this year? This seems to be their modus-operandi. Both the MU and Buff's games had 70+ free throws shot!

It's one thing to call a game close.

They are all over the map in this game.

Seriously what is going on with the refs. There was one play where people were pulled to the ground while trying to get a ball and no foul calls but they are calling this ticky tack shit now.

The refs were calling super ticky tacky fouls in the game. Was retarded

Better question. Why is Bob Knight given a television audience, ever, given he has zero public speaking abilities?

How was that NOT a foul against Dex under the basket?

And the Kstate players was out of bounds on the other end.

Big 12 refs fail at every sport.

SyNapSe

Clearly the refs have been given the direction to clean the games up a bit. You can't literally call a foul every play but I'd think 70+ free throws would scream it's time to back off the contact a bit.

Still a lot of contact underneath on that shot by Tejas. Kstate has really been able to come up with blocks and big stops despite not scoring great to this point.

StoOgE

First tragedy, then farce.
These refs are idiotic.

I'll take the foul.. but how do you call a foul there if you didn't call it on the last play?

He got hacked the last trip down and there is no call. He gets bumped a little and you call it this time.

I dont think Texas' guard there actually did anything there except get manhandled on the box out.

Edit: See that was a foul on a rebound by Hamilton.

Texas is missing some bunnies but the reason they are losing is because they cant rebound and Jai Lucas has no idea what he is doing on the floor.

All the NC ACC schools would want to be in the same division, the rest of the league would not allow that because nobody would care about the division that doesn't have Duke or UNC in it.
