This would be a bad off season for Georgia to fire Richt. Do they really want to compete with USC and possibly Texas for coaches?

And if Texas keeps strong for another year then next year Georgia would possibly be up against Texas.

Richt is probably safe until both those jobs are filled.

Not saying Stoops is Bowden in his later years (or his early years) but after 14 years, I think a MNC is largely irrelevant.

That's not the issue right now. The issue is two true freshmen and two true sophomores starting in the secondary. Believe me, the secondary hasn't been good at all, but it'll improve over the season, hopefully.

Richt is safe unless he has a losing season this year. With as many question as the team has right now with our top player on offense and defense out, anywhere from 10-2 to 8-4 isn't out of the realm of possibility.
