The more I look at the picture the more confusing it becomes. Why is Kipp holding the book sideways like it's some kind of centerfold in a naughty magazine?
We've gone over it already. I'm not up to date on the series myself so I kind of skimmed through most of the talk.
Seriously. I'm really surprised that I haven't seen any talk about him and that he hasn't been placed on any high-profile ongoings. He does great stuff.
And ooh. Did not know he was the artist for Frankenstein. I gotta check that out sometime.
It was my very best attempt at drawing perspective.
But he's already Ultra the Multi-Alien.
I blame this lapse in judgment on the fact I've been awake since 3AM, and totally forgot Ultra the Multi-Alien was even a thing.

Everybody should check out the new 52 Frankenstein run. Initially it was Jeff Lemire, but with Matt Kindt being a secret collaborator/ghostwriter, and then it was fully just Matt Kindt writing. It was always a comic that I looked forward to and I think the run is fucking great, getting better and better with each issue. Also, Ponticelli drawing giant fucking monster-beasts and creature armies.

Oh man. I even wanted to read it before I realized who was writing it. Just the little appearance of Frankenstein in Final Crisis had me wanting to read an ongoing with him in it.
I'll definitely try to pick up the first TPB sometime soon. That sounds fantastic.

This is great! Too bad shirts off of We Love Fine are so pricey, otherwise I'd probably order that one. I already have the Broken Tier shirt with Rocket Raccoon so it's not the end of the world. I've had a bunch of cashiers recognize him, and this was before the trailers for the Guardians movie. I think he's gonna be a popular character if the movie is a hit.

So, Futures End just introduced more Kirby goodness and introduced a character from a Lemire book. While these were cool developments, not much happens other than that.

Grayson was fine. Probably won't keep up with it but it was a fairly decent issue.
New Suicide Squad wasn't terrible, but I'm not keeping up with it. Felt like 80% of the dialogue between
and Waller was metacommentary on the book itself. Also, Joker's Daughter has such a terrible design. Even if the character isn't a new concept, it's still a pretty lame idea. I don't really like that the book has this many A-list villains; it's more interesting to me when it's C-listers who can die at any moment. Don't think they're gonna off Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, or Black Manta in this book, but they could surprise me! Art was aight though
