Is there anyway to smooth the graphics out on the PS4? On my TV, the sprite graphics look very pixelated as if they were blown up from a lower resolution.
I'd like to know this too. I was gonna sell some stuff to afford the 3000 cost startup one but forgot and am now wondering if I locked myself out of a trophy.Should I pay those NPCs in Gehenna the gold they ask me, I wonder...
??? Never played Evermore but I'd love to know more about the cameos.By the way, I was just looking at Locke's sprite through an image search to make sure I wasn't mistaken, and I was just reminded of the weird character cameos in Secret of Evermore. Those were pretty awesome.
I think I'm stuck in the Scimerex village.Anyone know where it is?I've gotten the translation device but it seems I need a terminal as well. I think I've explored the whole village but not found it.
By the front of the village on the lower-right side. It should have options on it that you can now read with the translation device.

Game froze after killing an enemy in desperation mode(?), dying and then clicking retry.
Music and animations still play.
Meh.
Dislike most of the character designs they look like hipsters which you tend to see in a lot of indy games and it looks like they just straight up edited chrono trigger sprites rather than their own from scratch.
Got that bug way to ofthen when you hit retry and some ennmies have die... it freeze. i think he correct that on 1.2 on steam.
edit; the game froze when i tried to equip sunglasses on third slot... then repress to equip again on the same slot...
Is this a joke post? That's how the game is supposed to look.Is there anyway to smooth the graphics out on the PS4? On my TV, the sprite graphics look very pixelated as if they were blown up from a lower resolution.
Some people like the filtered look lol.Is this a joke post? That's how the game is supposed to look.
Came in to ask the same question. I know that style factors into a character's ability to stay alive/kick into Desperation mode, but I don't know if the "more style = more power" is just for enemies or if that applies to PCs as well. Can someone explain the style mechanic to me? I'm not sure I get it. You have a percentage that increases with each move and can go over 100%. Does this provide passive buffs, or is there some sort of style-using move that I don't realize exists?
Robert, have the all the current patches (I believe its up to v1.03) been uploaded to PSN, yet?
No, I'm about to upload v1.04 to Steam & then I'm going to try to get the PS4 version updated.

I've been running CSH through my OSSC to get scanlines. For those complaining about the graphics I think scanlines greatly improves the look.
Hmm, can't you inject them on PC as well?
I'm sure SweetFX allows for that.
It's the faces that look the most like Chrono Trigger, but honestly at this combination of sprite size and pixel resolution it's not like there are millions of different ways to draw a face.
If they really wanted to rip off graphics the game would have come out much faster!
Quick question:
Should I pay the NPCs in Gehenna? Will I get screwed over later if I don't, or will I get glitches (I thought I read something about that) if I do?
Spoiler-tag if necessary.
Thanks.
Those Bladder Runner feels in the city... soooo good. Also did I catch a reference to Star Wars detention center scene lol
Thanks, what about the dude who asks for 600 gold for some intel or whatever? You won't get screwed over but
she does open an item shop with very good equipment near the end of the game
Speaking of which, after she does (bug tip for Zeboyd)-
The original NPC that you gave the credits to doesn't disappear after she opens the shop, so you have one copy of her in the homeless shelter saying "Thanks!
You won't regret this!" and another copy of her running the shop.
Hahaha probably autocorrect, funny though.Ha ha ha! "Bladder Runner"! I love it. I think you meant "Blade Runner" and I'm never going to view "Blade Runner" the same way again... (not sure if you meant to misspell it or not but it was very funny to me).
Is Marle super tall or is Alyssa Tyrion?

Ah, I didn't notice if he had a name, but I do know there'sYou're probably within an hour or two at most of figuring out why some NPCs in the world have names. So, without getting too specific on unnecessary spoilers, I'll just say that I did give him the money, and I did get a benefit from him down the line, but I can't be sure if the two were connected or if the first instance was just for some info that was pertinent at the time and the second interaction would've worked out regardless of paying or not.
Oh, what does v1.04 entail?
v1.04
Fixed various map obstruction issues
Fixed various NPC dialogue issues (typos, missing text, incorrect names).
Fixed an issue where travelling to the Asteroid Ruins sometimes messed up the party.
Fixed an issue where you could get stuck in NuBurger if you went there at a specific time.
Fixed pickpocket returning to the map issue in Gehenna
Updated various sound effects
Swamp, casino, and outside waterfall cliff areas now have new ambient music tracks combined with their regular music.
Also, if you pay the informant in Gehenna before going to Nightshade, the assassin he mentions shows up in the next segment and you have to fight him.

Do y'all have a forum or any specific area to submit bugs or is it fine for us to keep posting them here?
Is there an issue? People say that about games all the time.

Hey Robert, about the bounty hunter alien character (forgot his name), am I doing something wrong or is his revive skill bugged? I would use it to prepare for being revived, then use the skill that drops him to one health, and then if I got hit at all i would just immediately be killed, no revive and not even desperation mode. Am I missing something?
