The Wright shit is in-fucking-sufferable. Movie has long since released and done great worldwide and people still stay bringing that old news shit up. I support whichever outcome from this situation that won't leave us with a crapton of people trolling future threads about this movie and the MCU directors. Enough is enough for Christs sake.
It will never be enough. Marvel Studios has yet to atone.

Happy to hear. Though, I would be happier to hear if DC secured him for Green Lantern Corps. WB's loss is Marvel's gain I guess.

Sounds like it's been confirmed. Excellent choice, this could be outstanding.

Has it?

Vulture quoting Polygon.

Polygon quoting Empire magazine.

And the link to Empire magazine doesn't confirm it either.

I'm not saying that it won't happen but it doesn't appear to be there yet.

Plus, that Empire piece has been talked about for a day+ now. If Coogler had gotten confirmed, that would've been all over the place.

Sounds like the Empire interview of Feige does confirm it though:

In an interview with Empire Magazine, Feige said that the main reason they decided to bring the story of Black Panther forward was because of how influential his character would be on the upcoming Avengers films, 'Infinity War — Part 1' and 'Infinity War — Part 2.' The executive also added that Black Panther would be the first Marvel film to feature a majority black cast. Feige touched upon bringing director Ryan Coogler ('Creed') onboard and what that means for the film.

I really hope this isn't the case. I'd much rather him get to work on Creed 2. Or whatever else he wants really.

Creed was my favorite film this year even including TFA so I'm really stoked. Black Panther is probably my most anticipated Superhero movie now.

The Russo Bros saying that the creative process has been streamlined and much easier to go through since Feige stopped answering to Perlmutter has got me really interested. I hope Coogler gets to work his magic.
