Here's the Cyberpunk 2077 Series S vs Switch 2 graphics comparison video. (Switch 2 version is a beta version). Enjoy.
must be random but feels like the switch have way less npc
In line with expectations, probability the Switch 2 is going to have a little bit better textures in some occasions.Very hard to compare due to the lighting and capture differences. But looking at the side-by-side section with the Chinese pagoda section, it appears the Xbox Series S has a higher base resolution but the Switch 2 has better end resolve due to the advantages DLSS has over FSR 2, such as less breakup in motion and fewer or no disocclusion artifacts.
I ain't giving that dude clicks.
What is the problem with him? He does great comparison videos, have been watching his content for years. The comparison is from a dubious source to say the least, and yet it seems that the XSS version is superior.
Personally, I'm interested in how the Switch2 works in Handheld mode but, for some reason, there's always only game footage in docked mode...where the results are also quite questionable.

Seems likely, the setting is meant to reduce CPU load. Not sure, but that has been pointed out elsewhere. It is a setting in the PC version so maybe.
The quality of the upload is quite bad. However, it's clear to see the better lighting, increased npc counts, better input resolution. The series s in quality mode runs at a dynamic 1440p. It's also curious as the comparison doesn't include driving which would show clear framerate differences between the two. Considering that from what we know right now, the switch 2 runs at sub 720p native resolution in quality mode, it's funny that even in performance mode, the series s has a higher average input resolution.Very hard to compare due to the lighting and capture differences. That's the uploaders fault. Based on other videos, they don't look as blurry. They both look blurry as fuck.
If this is handheld mode on Switch 2, we can safely assume docked it will be better than PS5.
PS6 cant come soon enough.
doubt. That's the uploaders fault. Based on other videos, they don't look as blurry.
Hmm. Strange, I always found his videos to be really good at demonstrating differences.![]()
The quality of his videos are terrible.
That's not so surprising considering that using DLSS will likely incur an additional cost over regular TAA.Considering that from what we know right now, the switch 2 runs at sub 720p native resolution in quality mode, it's funny that even in performance mode, the series s has a higher average input resolution.
FSR2.2 also has a cost and Cyberpunk on consoles uses fsr2.2That's not so surprising considering that using DLSS will likely incur an additional cost over regular TAA.
How did switch survive against the ps4 gen and most of ps5?This is the reason I am concerned about the Switch 2 in year 3-4 of its life. If it's this far behind the Series S, how will it hold up as this gen matures and into next-gen consoles?![]()
They still release games for the PS4, when the Switch launched the PS3 was dead for ages, it will be fineThis is the reason I am concerned about the Switch 2 in year 3-4 of its life. If it's this far behind the Series S, how will it hold up as this gen matures and into next-gen consoles?![]()
switch1 harv no aaa and sells 150 millions cus nintendos make 1 first party every monthThis is the reason I am concerned about the Switch 2 in year 3-4 of its life. If it's this far behind the Series S, how will it hold up as this gen matures and into next-gen consoles?![]()
Dlss is doing a lot of work on the Switch 2
Seems they are cutting a lot of corners to reach acceptable performance
That's because VFX are rendered at the original resolution on the Switch 2 version, as per CDPR words. Some few things I saw.
NS2 Version:
Less scripted-NPC walking around. Static NPC seem to be statically placed so no change.
50% of the screen is cleanly upscaled DLSS then it devolves into the XSS smudge
The crime scene passby has a pourly upscaled moving hologram crime tape compared to XSS
The pole dancer inside the window is horribly rendered. Just plain blurry.
By being exactly the same as Switch. Obsolete hardware but at least okay for some jrpgs/1st party titles. There's no reason to play and 3rd party titles on switch/switch 2This is the reason I am concerned about the Switch 2 in year 3-4 of its life. What other handheld performs like the Switch 2 for $450?By being exactly the same as Switch. Obsolete hardware but at least okay for some jrpgs/1st party titles.
People keep stating this...while totally ignoring memory bandwidth...That's because VFX are rendered at the original resolution on the Switch 2 version, as per CDPR words.
CPU is gonna be the bottleneck as expected compared to XSS, yet the higher RAM and Nvidia tech makes the geometry textures cleaner.
I'm an adult, I don't commute either. Why would I need a handheld to play games? What other handheld performs like the Switch 2 for $450?
Switch 2 GPU doesn't require nearly as much bandwidth as RDNA 2, not only because of Ampere but because Switch 2 DLSS and textures compression tech allows for way smaller files reducing the bw requirements by a lot (that's in the upscaler patent).People keep stating this...while totally ignoring memory bandwidth...
Switch 2 has 12% more memory available to developers compared to Series S....while having 55% less memory bandwidth in docked mode.... and 70% less memory bandwidth in portable mode.
Moving the goal post as expectedI'm an adult, I don't commute either. Why would I need a handheld to play games?
portimble waaaaay more comfy thirs why everyone making ones nowI'm an adult, I don't commute either. Why would I need a handheld to play games?
Ah, the goal moving post as expected. It's an hybrid system with a docked mode which will be already outdated not even mid cycle just like the switch. If you enjoy that, well good for youMoving the goal post as expected… You said is outdated tech… You can give an example of a better value/Price at least compared to Switch 2 outdated tech.

It does have less crowd density other YouTube have pointed this out as well.must be random but feels like the switch have way less npc
Quality mode for both 30fps.What are the respective frame rates?
