God, I hate JRJR art. I put it inside spoiler tags because it is so hideous I don't want to make people puke again. He should return to Marvel.
Superman For All Seasons...got some tears welling up...best Superman story. Fucking fight me.
I will high-five the screen so hard that my hand is going to come out of yours. Listen to this man.
And do... what? Be another Bat-clone book with no meaningful tone of his own? Tim is the 'yes man' of the Bat family. Teen Titans give him something where his skills stand out among the group, and Beyond atleast gives him a unique angle to tackle. Even in his Red Robin solo pre-N52, he still feels like he's there just to contrast other people who show up. He's never felt like the draw. He's there to have a Robin who isn't a smart-ass or a screw-up, all to back up someone else.
What am I reading?
"And do what?" Umm... I don't know, maybe create stories around his character? Tim has had plenty of stories written around him, in fact he was the first Robin to get his on ongoing series which went for years. Hell, how many "sidekicks" even had an ongoing in the 90s? His run was probably considered ground-breaking for the time.
And Drake is great enough character on his own. He's different than the others in the Bat-Family. Unlike Dick, Jason, Harper, and Steph, he's not a victim of Gotham. His choice in becoming a hero wasn't because of tragedy, he chose this path. He's a "yes-man?" Yea, he's not as charastmatic and womanizer like Grayson, and he's not the rebel Todd is, and his ego definitely isn't as big as Damiens. But besides that, I enjoy reading his book. He reminds me a lot of Peter Parker. He does the right thing because he can.
And his Red Robin series was a great read in the Old 52. It's been awhile since I read it, but the whole Black/White/Grey moral issues he faced was great. And that scene where he defeats Ras Al Ghul really showed the difference between him and Batman.

Tim Drake is Gambit tier levels of lame.
You have a funny way of writing Damien Wayne
All of the Robins are pretty unique characters. None of them are mini-Bruce.
It's gonna be a PR nightmare if DC gets rid of black Wally for white Wally.
Looks like I'm jumping back into comics this may!
Couldn't keep up with New52 so I'm actually excited about this and Action/Detective going back to original numbering.... Never sat well with me that they specifically reboot that

Now why would you say this hurtful thing. This hideous thing.Tim Drake is Gambit tier levels of lame.
Get out you monster. Tim Drake is the best character to come out of the entire Batman franchise.Nah son.
Nah.
Damien is entertaining in a "love to hate him" sort of way, even at his worst. Whatever else he is, he's never boring.
Tim Drake is like the dullest thing in the world. Like listening to a sneakerhead talk for 3 hours about a pair of Jordans he doesn't even own.

Only Nu52 Tim Drake is lame. He was so great before becoming irrelevant generic guy.

goddamn who hurt you?
The COIE story was planned years in advance, but they made it a reboot at the last second. It was originally just supposed to be a 50 year anniversary story.
John Byrne says when they originally hired him to do Superman, he wasn't supposed to be rebooting it. He was just hired to be the regular writer and they made him do all the reboot stuff at the 11th hour.
I was really hoping they would announce what the hell is going on with Milestone 2.0 Thought they were going to work together again.
Glad to see Jim Lee is not trying to subjugate audience to the disastrous Wildstorm Universe....
What's the source on that? This article from 1986 says they were looking at a Supes reboot for years and Byrne was hired on the basis of his pitch on how he would do it. That tracks with most everything I've read about it's genesis.

didn't see this coming http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/02/20/jim-lee-joins-the-suicide-squad
I wish they had done more with the Wildstorm characters. I know they tried with some of them with Stormwatch but I always felt Gen13 would have easily fit in, especially around the Teen Titans characters or even on their own. Did they ever give them a push in things like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, or Justice League? To really put a spotlight on them. Wildstorm had characters that would have made for interesting meetings or just general supporting characters for the bigger DC characters.
Maybe I'm bias because as Wildstorm was on it's way out I really got into it. Starting with Armageddon and up to and through World's End. Those were the only trades I was buying for a while until there were no more and I was so interested I was buying single issues. Sadly there were only four titles at that point (Authority, Gen 13, Wildcats, and Stormwatch I think) but it made it easy to follow everything about that universe and story.
You missed the good years then, such as Warren Ellis's Stormwatch, his run on the Authority, Wildcats 3.0 and Stormwatch: Team Achilles. It was great stuff.
And what the fuck is this shit?Tim Drake is Gambit tier levels of lame.
SNEAKERS ARE BORING.
They're just shoes ffs.
Its strange how Wildstorm just doesn't seem popular any more. Even Grifter couldn't keep his NU 52 series from being cancelled.I wish they had done more with the Wildstorm characters.
THey tried
To get bopped, apparentlywhat was the purpose of superboy in nu52?
"I'M A MONSTER!"what was the purpose of superboy in nu52?
what was the purpose of superboy in nu52?
I would read that.Just give Cass, Harper, and Steph their own book.
I would read that.
Man, so many people would. Give the Female-Bat Family their own book, and give the Robins (Grayson-Todd-Drake-Damien and maybe Duke) their own book. The Robins series itself would do great. If their worried about over-saturation take out one of the Batbooks they have.
what was the purpose of superboy in nu52?
So unnecessary, and so stupidTo make one of the dumbest most stupid origins for his evil version of an alt future version.
I couldn't believe how horrible it was and how utterly bad it was. Full train wreck.
Just give Cass, Harper, and Steph their own book.
