Dead body found in L.A. hotel's water tank

Yeah they're pretty awesome. I bookmarked them awhile back when I saw that GAF wasn't talking about some incident. Remembered them probably at the exact same time panda posted the link haha. They're like Detective GAF on steroids lol.
 
I found that site when a little girl went missing a year or so ago and they nailed suspects and stuff before the police released any info.


Really cool people that really just want to help.

Kind of creepy. But man, imagine that sort of resource applied to science around the world, or something. They are all working together, for free, just to get to the bottom of this. Crazy.

Unfortunately, I think this is leaning towards it not being a demon. But a fellow named pablo...? I guess. gotta read it all..

However it seems he was into rituals/satanism.. so .. still..

Well, if she was taking drugs at the time of her death, wouldn't an analysis of her body or the water in the tank show traces of that kind of thing? Granted, even if investigators wanted to find out about this, they wouldn't know what to test for. Plus, the body has been decomposing for two weeks. The chances of finding something like that, if it exists, seems rather slim.

Anyways, there is another part of the video that I find odd. At 1:13, doesn't it look like she's putting her arms over her head? It's almost as if she was being held at gunpoint and was told to do that.

A tragic case to be sure, but I can't help but find it intriguing.

I sure hope she is all right, but its very doubtful. The Cecil Hotel is right in the heart of skid row with all kinds of blood thirsty people and the worst societal misfits in the Los Angeles area. A very stupid or naive woman to get anywhere that place alone.

Shes a crazy bitch, anybody would just take the stairs if the elevator wasn't working for that long. She climbed into that tank and killed herself. Case closed, lets have a pizza party.

People are saying she's playing "Hide and go seek" in that video, and she's found in a water tank. Hide indeed. Bad area, etc. Time to put on a cartoon or something, I'm getting nauseous.
 
She just looks off her face in that video, to me. Could it be possible she'd taken some kind of hallucinogen and found her way up to the roof?

In regards to this. I had just shown my colleagues this comment, and asked their opinion on the matter (serving military, etc) and they state that it is an absolute certainty that she was not affected by either.

Tasers, whether hand deployed or shot, will drop most people due to their effects on motor nerves (simplified). While I agree the quality would not allow us to see taser prongs if deployed via launch, we may see the wiring running around the corner of the elevator door (may be far reaching here).

As for mace deployment, she shows no normal signs that she has been affected by it. At no point does she react in a state that the majority of normal, unwitting citizens do when confronted with compliance oriented devices.

As noted in previous posts, I am currently in a sector that focuses on threat risk scenarios and so forth. Analyzing this video (however poor the quality is), there is no indication she acts in a panicked mode. In my assessments of risk, threats and reactions, people rarely flee into confined areas. Elisa at no point seems to flee in this video, however if we were to assume she was, the likelihood of her entering this elevator is very small indeed.

Her continuum of body language indicates no definitive source of a third party. At certain parts she will react left, and then right. At 2:28 we see her finally exit left, whereby stepping on the blade of her left foot and sweeping her right foot over. Note this is also where people are believing another person appears, but if you watch and assess it as per the above, it is actually her foot on the blade, which is what kicks up the sandal.

Lastly in reply to the person who stated that physical injury would be present for murder identification, it is completely feasible that submersion in water, and advanced decomposition would degrade physical evidence on a body to the point of uncertainty (ie bite marks, strangulation, etc).

I just wanted to put my two cents in when she does that stomp. I know that. Thats when you possibly hear or have freaked yourself out so far into thinking someone else is there you literally make noise so you are letting them know you know they are there its basically you saying "Hey I know you are there, go away, so nothing happens here" Ive been there when thinking I was being robbed at night. Although in this case it looks like someone probably was there she just hadnt seen them yet.

It also seems like an incredibly difficult place to carry a body up to and dump it into.

Those aren't small tanks.. you could get up there pretty easy it seems from that fence, but not carrying a body you couldn't.

I'm guessing suicide.

Holy hell that website is deceitful. As someone who lives minutes from downtown la, that area is terrible.
 
Is it confirmed that the roof alarm wasn't broken and that some maintenance guy didn't leave a ladder up there? As a maintenance guy myself, both of these are very possible.

Been reading more and with all the info from before to now here's what I got:

Short thin college (and I'm guessing naive) girl, bad bad town.
Fourteen floors
She was staying on the fourth
She's pounding buttons in a shitty neighborhood, playing.. a game?
Possibly drunk or high, or drugged.

ALSO

There was a major noise the night she went missing, woke an 80 year old man up.
This man has been living there 32 years.
Half of the hotel occupants are not guests, they live there.

Did you see her actions in the elevator? She was acting very strange to begin with.

There's just doesn't seem an easy way to get a body up there to dump into the tank.. you'd have to carry them up a ladder.

Well she doesn't look like a big girl. You would only need a rope.
 
While it is possible she would have climbed up there on her own if she were on something, it really is looking more and more like she was taken up there by an employee. And people going missing from there often? I hope that guy hasn't been stashing bodies in water tanks for a long time. :/
