Doesn't help too much, there's still edge shimmering on many objects.
I think some of the effects in the game are just really low resolution.

What about a combination of supersampling + FXAA?Doesn't help too much, there's still edge shimmering on many objects.
Here you go everybody:

For the most part everything is buttery smooth at 80-144fps but when things get crazy it dips down into the mid 50s which is a pretty big discrepancy.
980ti i72600k@4.0 16gb ram.
Wonder if my cpu is just showing it's age.
Game was running great until I got to the EDZ. Tons of hitching now and is literally unplayable. Even crucible is rough. All the content prior to the shard was at a constant 60fps.
I7-870
GeForce 970 4GB
8GB RAM
My CPU is old and I guess it cant handle the AI in the large zones along with other players.
Same issue here. Getting to the EDZ absolutely ruined my framerates. I have an i7-6600k. Maybe it's a game problem.

At 1080p on high settings with a GTX 1070 / i7-4790k @ 4.00 GHz / 16GB DDR3, my game dips to the mid 40s when I'm exploring certain parts of the European Dead Zone. I tried setting some things to medium like shadows and light shafts, but still getting major dips. I've got the game installed on a Samsung EVO SSD.

Hmm...could be. I rebooted and the edz was fine but after 5-10 minutes it was hitching bad again.
I wouldn't say it's unplayable for me, but same thing happened to me where the game ran flawless then in EDZ it feels like I'm getting a small micro-stutter when moving my mouse. It's not low FPS because in-game it's always 60+ but it just feels hitchy and not smooth at all.
Same here. I have a gtx 1080, i5 3.00, 8gb and i'm using a HDD.
The game runs perfectly while doing story missions but when in the EDZ, i get fps drops even on the lowest settings. Must be a problem with the game.
So I'm having an fps issue. Performance is rock solid for about 15 minutes or so until the fps starts to degrade even in the exact same areas as it was 60. It's really puzzling me as I can hold 60fps even with a full lobby and tons of crap going on but when performance starts degrading it doesn't matter where I am, even in the menus it will never be a solid 60. When it degrades I really mean it degrades. The fps steadily gets worse as if my gpu can't keep up or something. After closing the game out and booting it back up it's rock solid again till it starts to degrade again... I can't figure it out. Would a memory leak cause this?
For anyone having the FPS performance issues, are you on the latest Nvidia drivers? Mine are all updated.

No I am not, I will try that and get back.
Yes...I updated yesterday.
I should've mentioned that even with the latest Nvidia drivers I'm still getting major fps dips haha
Ok that sucks for sure because even on Xbox one Ive never seen any slowdown on titan except when doing the wizard event to its highest level with max players and supers then it drops but still not like in the trostland event.I get frame rate drops on titan too so it's not just on earth.
Edit: Oh wow it's really bad on titan. This sucks![]()
Any taxing settings to lower? Do we know if there is gonna be an nVidia guide?

What resolution?
The EDZ is definitely making my overclocked 2550k sweat, but people on newer hardware seem to be having issues too?
8770K, Titan X Pascal
Seems to be running very smoothly at 4K
Shame about the Anti Alias though![]()
