Bungie really needs to jazz up the tower. It's a pretty lame ass home base for the last bastion of humanity.

The special and heavy weapons only drop on normal mode, so if you still want those, you'll have to do normal mode. Otherwise, no reason besides fun.

If you haven't gotten all the secondary and heavies weapons from Crota NM, I would suggest doing them, especially for Black Hammer and Hunger of Crota.

I have an A.1F19X scout rifle that I really like, but it's the old 300 damage model. The Rapier would probably fit nicely, specially since I probably won't hit lvl 5 on the IB.

Do you play PVP? The HMG is awesome for crucible.
