Some of you act like you have played the remaster from start to finish already lol
Why would they remaster a native PS5 game.....for PS5?Time to move on from this franchise and make something new imo. I am sure they will remaster Forbidden West in a year or so.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered vs Original PS5 Early Graphics Comparison | State of PlayIf they didn't label the pictures I probably wouldn't be able to tell which is which...just sayin.
Like there's a few in there that looks like it could be a difference with the time of day. Need to see it in motion.
Yes let's move on from an IP with 2 games and over 30M copies sold please.Time to move on from this franchise and make something new imo. I am sure they will remaster Forbidden West in a year or so.
When you get a chance, try to catch it on a good screen. Some of the changes are pretty big! It's could be just me, but there's definitely some parts of the video where I prefer the warmer tones of the original. I'm on my work PC so there may be some difference I'm not seeing because I'm not watching in 1440p or 4k.
The way the sun works in the remastered version as far as godrays kinda washes out the architecture in the background at times. I understand it's more of an artistic choice, but I think I prefer less godrays and more clarity.
However, the foliage looks a lot better in the remaster and in some of the scenes I appreciate the artstyle changing to something more resembling Forbidden West.
I mean...it's 10 bucks and I'm sure it will perform just as well. Nixxes don't miss.
Enemy details mimic Forbidden West too, nice improvement

Child Alloy's forehead is still so damn massive, it's so offpudding...
The game looks massively improved graphically. Which makes it all the more frustrating that it's for a game that I don't like at all. I'm guessing most other people 'shit posting' have a similar dislike for the game.Oof, some hilariously bitter comments in this thread!
People pretending that the game wasn't popular and generally well received back in 2017, that its somehow this game's "fault" for existing when a Bloodborne remaster doesn't, that although they didn't have the patience to finish the story back in the day they have the time and motivation to shit-post in a thread where somebody has put the effort to create nice comparison screenshots...
Not a good look for you.
Sony is not asking them to add ray-tracing, though. Huge difference.Only gaming devs can talk this way and get away with it. if i told my bosses that its too much work, id get laid off the next day.
Eh, don't bother. Brainrot has truly destroyed any kind of Sony discussion here for the past 10 months or so.Why would they remaster a native PS5 game.....for PS5?![]()
I'd love to see a Killzone collection remastered/remade, but I think isn't likely.now do that with killzone.
Well it's the same game that released in 2017 it's just visually enhanced so yeah a lot of people can already give you their feelings about the game...Some of you act like you have played the remaster from start to finish already lol
Bloodborne didn't sell anywhere near as good as Horizon. Should have bought more copies.I’m just mad they didn’t remaster bloodborne instead.

That is actually called tesselation.Lighting and stuff looks good, but all the models look puffy and swollen. Humans, robots and even the building in a way. Maybe some camera lensing effect going on? Not even talking about the Aloy thing. You can see it in every image in the OP with a human and even some of the bots. Even the bricks got plump and rounded.
I actually think the new screens make the world appear more alive, as if the original was drab and bland.I mean... it looks better in places for sure, but these comparisons also kinda highlight how utterly unnecessary and, frankly, uninteresting the remaster is. Honestly, I actually prefer how the original looks in probably half of those shots.
Okay, I also want to add some extra comparison.

Alright, I'll admit I was wrong when I insinuated this was a low effort cash grab. The upgrades push it closer to a cg movie in character rendering and direction vs the 'lifeless action figure' look before.

Talking the enhancements, not the core story. People are drawing conclusions from a tiny fraction of screenshots and video.Well it's the same game that released in 2017 it's just visually enhanced so yeah a lot of people can already give you their feelings about the game...
I kind of like the way the original looks here better.
Yep, honestly.Oof, some hilariously bitter comments in this thread!
