Yeah the dynamic between Doakes and Dexter was fucking amazing. I can't help but think there was a contract dispute with the actor who played Doakes. Showtime had to know they had a great thing going. So they had to
kill him
, just seems like such a waste...
and to let that POS Lila be the one to off him, what a shame. He deserved better
 
I don't understand the hate for Season 2. The Dexter/Doakes rivalry was very intense especially since it was building up since the first season. I liked it more than season 3 personally.

Really looking forward to John Lithgow in season 4, he's just awesome and can pull off a creepy role really well.
 
I accidently saw this trailer after I left the TV on SHowtime 2 after Big Brother and... haven't seen Season 3 yet! :lol

Goddamn, I was so pissed at myself, so many huge spoilers. :(

Either there is some hilarious incompetence over at Showtime or they're doing it purposefully.

Impressions? My main concern is that it will be annoying as hell w/ too many scenes of a crying baby. Hopefully it will keep its edge (kind of lost it last season...seemed toned down).

For all the other people wanting to see it, just click the menu button on the player and click newest. It should be there unless they remove it.

Click the 'Menu' button, then the 'Newest' tab. It's the third video, the one with Dexter holding a baby in front of blue background.

4. Click "Episode #401". (third or fourth video along from the left, if memory serves)

Agreed. I loved the first two seasons, but lost interest with the third about halfway through. If Season 4 sounds good, can I just skip to that one without missing much of note?

Season 3 has an interesting ending, but probably. It's a fairly self-contained season since it's a departure from the first two in terms of show structure, and there's definite closure to the whole thing.

Season 3 is good but only the final episodes. It gets good when Miguel gets his. Why did they waste a season with him?
 
Really liked all the seasons. Lila was obnoxious, but the Doakes factor made up for it. Goddamn Doakes was the man... I still crack up when I think of his voicemail message, just the way he sounds like the guy from Unforgivable, REALLY pissed off when he says "JAMES [MOTHERFUCKING] DOAKES."
 
That was pretty good. Adrienne Barbeau showed up. I wonder if she'll appear again.

Lithgow is certainly creepy and that ending sure was something. It'll be interesting to see how that's resolved.
 
God damn my piece of shit connection and showtimes antibuffer system.

fuuuuuck this is annoying, watching it a few minutes at a time. =(
 
Sweet! Hopefully this stays up for a bit. I'll definitely watch it with the gf tonight!
