I don't dispute the issues with FSR2. Only motion blur. And there is a lot of people that don't like motion blur.
Today, if a game releases without the option to disable motion blur, especially on PC, people will complain.

And I haven't played at 30 fps in close to 20 years. It's something that I also avoid, just like motion blur. Because both are problems in modern games.
And both those images look like shit, because of motion blur. It's just that one looks even worse because it also has FSR2.

Yes, I started this discussion, because it doesn't make sense to complain about ghosting and disocclusion artifacts that temporal upscalers cause, when using an option that smears the whole screen.
It's like having a car with a dent, then taking a hammer to the whole body, then complain there is a dent. It doesn't make sense.
if you are limiting yourself to not play 30fps and not play games with motion blur... you are missing out on ton of amazing games still stuck on those consoles.
What comes first? Games or tech?

On PC, there is no such issues. Almost all games have an option to disable motion blur.
And the very few that don't, there is usually the option to use mods and tweaks to disable it.
I don't have to compromise and have a bad image quality.

and this means you've not played some of best games ever on their releases and waited years for them to come to pc... if they ever did.
idk. I would prefer to play stuff like Death Stranding day1 on ps4 even if it was 1080p 30 locked because I don't care about it as much as I do about the game.
It's only your limitation you put on yourself.

I am playing on ps5 and I also don't have to compromise because I don't put some arbitrary limits on myself. Your brain is more capable than you think.
edit: the "I am better than all of you because I play on pc and mod my games to look better" is not the energy you think it is....

Pretty much all modern games are released on PC, at the same time as on consoles. Some are even release first on PC, or are exclusives. Strategy games are a great example of this.
Only a few games from Playstation are released a few years later. Tough this period is now smaller. And some games are released at the same time, such as Helldivers. So it's not like there is a big limitation there.
On the other side, there are even some advantages, because when Sony games are released on PC, they have all the content at launch. Options for high frame rates, upscalers, some for RT, higher resolution textures and effects, and the option to disable motion blur, chromatic aberration, film grain and lens flares.
PC has it's issues, but one of it's main advantage is the option to customize your own experience. And turning off motion blur is a big plus.
You might be ok with using motion blur, but there are a lot of people that prefer to turn it off.

Edit: And I didn't said people are better for playing on PC. That was you.
I just said that on PC we have the choice to turn off motion blur and play at higher frame rates.

Yeah this "eyes adjust" thing is really only said by people that never made the move for 60 fps ... total bullshit ...
It’s true to an extent. For example I was playing stellar blade with their 80 fps mode. I turned it down to 60 just to see. I could definitely notice. But after a few minutes my eyes would adjust and 60 feels fine.

But anything below 60 it really never looks fine to me.

total nonsense on your part to assume that.
I had 240hz, 144hz, 165hz. Now have 120hz oled... and I have no problem adjusting.
Sure 30fps can be rough (especially without motion blur on oled) but it's doable when done well.
I once went from 240hz tn panel to 4k 27" 60hz ips AND IT WAS FINE.
It's really just few games/few evenings or even less and you are adjusted.
Rebirth was a bit tough this gen on ps5 since everything else is 60fps... but I played 1 evening at 30 and 2nd evening was fine. I played 70 hours of that game.
Key is not to switch back and forth constantly. Give time to adjust.

Well I will agree in disagree... for me is impossible to go back to 30 fps ... it just looks like shit and no amount of cope can make my eyes ajust to slow motion

Oh yeah.. I play at 120 fps and some times at 60 fps ... its ok .. but below 60 is impossible for me anymore. Its just too slow.
