Glad to see that it's going through Fathom events. I can't see a list of theaters where it's playing, but Fathom events usually make it to my local theater.

Portland's getting a Monday screening. Not particularly excited, for a couple reasons.

1) there's no way I won't have already seen it by then
2) not the biggest fan of 3D
3) It's probably at the Lloyd, which is a fucking animal house.
4) I have a projector at home already :)

Bah, I didn't realize that it's showing on the 25th for most places. Also not the biggest fan of 3D, hmm...

Just booked my tickets here in Aust. It'll be a couple of days after though, I can't make it on the day of.

I'll watch it live though, then have a couple of days break before seeing it again.

Got some Doctor Who merch at the mall tonight. This does not include the keyboard:

Well fuck off am I going to the cinema. Apart from Lincoln not selling tickets despite being on the map, I looked up Hull and it's £14 a pop.

So are these part of the simulcast? I'd like the experience of a cinema showing, but not if I have to wait days for it.

Also, in Birmingham today so I think I'll pick up something DW related from Forbidden Planet.

Cineworld in the UK finally announced that they're going to be showing it. Vue have also announced showings too. I've sent Cineworld a tweet to ask if I can still see films between now and then with my Unlimited card if I book online.

That really shouldn't be an issue. They only care if you book 2 films for the same date & time

I'm really annyed. Even though the 2 Vue cinemas is Leeds are on the map they aren't showing up on the website as a place that I can buy tickets.

So I have to decided whether to buy tickets for a cinema that is a 40 minute train ride away or wait it out to see if they getting added to my cinema later.

On the Vue website it says all locations should be up soon.

I've gone ahead and booked tickets in halifax. I'll book them there as well if it pops up and cancel the others.

Thanks for the heads up.

EDIT: Just check the leeds cinema again it has sold out now! less than 2 hours

So 2 options.

Go to the cinema pay over the odds for everything and listen to annoying screamy fan girls.

Stay at home close all the curtains get some snacks in and chill out.

I know which I want to do.

Told my wife about the screenings. She pointed out that we wouldn't be able to geek out noisily in a movie theater. I pointed out that we will certainly have already watched it before that Monday and had ample geeking opportunity.
Long story short, tickets are bought.

Yeah think I've pretty much resigned myself to this. It pissed me off enough during the final Harry Potter movie, the Tumblr brigade will be out in full force for this one.

Cineplex in Canada has already sold out or isn't selling the tickets just yet.

Technical issues apparently. Don't give up yet.

Cineplex Twitter account says they're looking into it, but I found that by checking their replies to people, rather than a Tweet. They haven't made a statement about their issues.

Fucking Cineplex.

I'm hearing Toronto is actually sold out though. Movietickets.com was selling them. The 23rd sold out but they have ticks for the 25th. Debating whether I should bother. If they release it in Blu-Ray 3d I can watch it then.

Ah crap.

Well, we tried. Space it is, then.

I'm wondering if Movietickets had a certain allotment and Cineplex has more. I'll keep refreshing but this feels like a needle in a haystack chance.

Space is fine for me as long as it's in HD on Rogers.

Edit: Cineplex just put up a tweet that makes me thing they may have more tickets for the 23rd in Toronto.

I bought tickets to the Atlanta show on the 25th near my house instead of the Atlanta show on the 23rd 1.2353 hours away from my house. I don't need to see it live. In fact, I'd be really surprised if some of the folks watching it live didn't have some sort of rage inducing technical difficulty.

Fayetteville... who in their right minds would want to go to Fayetteville?
