I have a minor gripe, I really wish they hadn't of changed Matt Smiths outfit from the whole odd Science Teacher look he had originally with the greeny brown jacket to this Victorian era look. Seeing him and Tennant together in that pick just makes them look like they are both wearing almost the same outfit.
Matt's regeneration (or the circumstances surrounding it, anyway) has more than a little in common with that of the First Doctor.
He's still got one more than the Daleks! (Legs, that is...)
Silence MUST AND WILL fall when the question is asked.
Expect enemies galore! But not all of them are real.
An intimate area of a previous companion (sort of, anyway) makes an important reappearance.
Clara is now a teacher?!
The Tenth Doctor was so, so vain. To Eleven's detriment!
But where on Earth does it all go from here?!
Rest assured he goes out with a BANG!
Also, I'm hearing it takes place in Christmas Town. Yes, Christmas Town.
(Another poster:
I was told it features Daleks, Cybermens, Weeping Angels and Silence and that they're all back to Trenzalore to create the battle which turns the planet into a battlefield graveyard and where the Doctor falls.
Have I been told wrong ?)
Absolutely not. You're spot on.
But I don't think the Doc realises quite where he is for a while...
There's no trap, as such. The Doctor is there more or less by choice, albeit without a method of getting out. It's like chess. It's a stalemate. A loooooong one.
The meat is the stalemate, I think. The Doc can't leave and the Enemies can't attack. So time ticks away...

Yeah I like Matt Smith's first costume more then the current one.
Just imagined this trailer with 9... I'll never get over his absence.

HOLY SHIT. 3 episodes to go in series 5 of Doctor Who and shit just got real. Holy crap. WHAT IS GOING ON. (Pandorica)
My mind hurts, so much. I'm halfway through the finale of series 5. The Doctor is rewinding.Man.....He came back in time and talked to Amy during the Angels episode? It wasn't him during the current time?
(not sure if we need to spoiler those, but oh well).
I would say it's safe to not spoiler tag. It's even interesting because back in Angels episode, the Doctor is wearing the right jacket, but people thought it was a continuity error at the time, but it's tiny stuff like that, that makes me shake my fist at the sky and violently scream "MOFFFAATTTTT!!!!"
Series 5 done. Two series' to go in a little over two weeks. Here we go.
Any tips on where to find series 7? Hulu? It's not on Netflix. I'd rather not pay $60 or whatever the series BluRay cost, I want to buy the whole pack eventually.
I still have hope.

As much as people seem to hate on Rose here, I'm glad she's back. Billie Piper looks good.

As said, it's on Amazon Video or also iTunes (that's what I did, and then watched it on my AppleTV)
Also, dat cinematography.
Rose is another reason I wish Eccleston was back. I thought Rose and 10 didn't work that well together, but Rose and 9 were brilliant together.
"Oh, you redecorated. I don't like it"
"Well I had to redecorate after you threw a little fit when you died"
Edit: I guess he can't tell him he died kicking and screaming, can he...
It's on Amazon video, I believe
Also, your new avvy is amazing![]()

The mechanisms are never explained but they the Doctor tends to forget encounters with himself. Occasionally he remembers but only during the event. So if Tennant meets Clara as the Doctor's new companion, then the Doctor wouldn't be confused (or maybe confused in a different way) when he meets her in HIS timeline right?
Ugh. My mind feels wibbly wobbly.
There's a theater showing this in 3D on the 25th near me but I'm almost certain none of my friends would go see it with me. Kinda thinking of just going alone...
So what do you think? Stay home and watch it alone or go to a theater alone and watch it with the hopes I meet other Who fans?
ALL THOSE HINTS SOUND SO GOOD.
Sounds like something either Ten did in his own series or something he does in the 50th special comes back to bite 11 in the butt.
Ok this episode with the aliens that you forget when you turn around is insane. Show just keeps getting better.
That 2 parter is fantastic. I don't think the show ever looked better. Those two had a particularly high spectacle look to them. They filmed in America and the cinematography was perfect-with the exception of that diner that was supposedly in Utah, but was obviously a US-themed restaurant created by non-Americans. Kind of like the Cafe 80s from BTTF2.
Holy shit. Amy is in a chip like at the library. Aggghgghghh.
EDIT: Great episode.
Agreed. Thought she looked amazing here:

Oh shit is Moffat going toWill create an interesting dynamic if Ten already knows about his impending death in the 50th. Might cause some bitterness seeing Eleven prancing around.
Oh shit is Moffat going toretroactively make Ten's regeneration less childish?
It would make sense in a way. Imagine if you got told you were being fired from your job and they bought your replacement in for a trial run while you were still there. Quite the bummer.
