Its gotta be McGann!

Pretty excited, I have wanted more on-screen vision of his Doctor for so long, even if its only 7 minutes, its something!

Do we still think it will be on today though? I do hope so! Otherwise, the other date floating about was Saturday?

It could be. To be honest it's quite unusual for it to have a PID up this early at all.

EDIT: Lol at not refreshing the thread before posting the reply.

So how is it possibe for other euopeans to watch The Night of the Doctor?

I plan to wait five or ten minutes until after it airs, and then watch it on Youtube.

Don't let me down fandom!

Can I just say, not only is it McGann, but he's absolutely wonderful in it. ("Bring me knitting!"). Now I'm getting greedy and want a whole season of McGann wonderfulness. DO IT MOFF

I had heard all the rumours but holy shit, oh my giddy aunt. How fucking amazing was that...I scared and woke up the house yelling OH MY GOD and HOLY SHIT over and over and I can't possibly explain why that was so fucking amazing

I still can't tell if that was footage of young John Hurt in the reflection or if Moffat just called up Martin Freeman

EDIT: Also Six should be taking notes

You realise the only appearance of him that'd make sense at this point is at the very end of Day Of The Doctor, yes? :p

Funnily enough, this puts me back in the hopeful camp. If they can surprise us with McGann like this, who I'm sure is on-record as saying he wasn't involved at all, there's still a chance Eccleston might crop up.

I won't be holding my breath, but I'm not ruling it out anymore either.

Pretty much, the last shot of the 50th could be Hurt regenerating and just have either Eccleston or a double walking into the Tardis, it doesn't have to be a big cameo, just a little shot or similar.

Wont be too long till we find out either way, and if it happens we will have a full chain of regenerations from Hartnell to Smith.

More confirmation, if any were needed, that anyone denying that they're involved with the anniversary can be totally lying through their teeth.

The possibilities are endless!

I've not been keeping track of anything. Hell, I haven't even watched most of the last season yet.

Ah right. Well, they've shown how the Eighth Doctor became the Warrior, so I'm not going to be surprised at all if "The Last Day" minisode turns out to be the Warrior regenerating into the Ninth Doctor.

Oh my god you guys...

McGann. Sisterhood of Karn. Big Finish references. (I guess that's all canon now!!) I'm so happy. ;__;

That was absolutely brilliant.

When I heard the prequel existed a while back, I tried not to get my hopes up for McGann, but damn I am so happy.

It was perfect, a nice bridge between old and new.
