I think I liked Clara more in that last scene of The Ultimate Guide than the whole series, apart from AOTD and The Snowmen. Hopefully I'll like her even more now that the whole mystery is over with.

No idea. Doubt he'll ever get one though, he's bloody dreadful and everyone knows it.

I did some Google-fu on Grade, and I got this quote from Wiki:

In an appearance on Room 101 in 2002, he said, "I thought [Doctor Who] was rubbish, I thought it was pathetic, I'd seen Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T., and then I had to watch these cardboard things clonking across the floor trying to scare kids!" Grade admitted in the same programme that he had little interest in, or sympathy for, science fiction.

Goddamn. Though he has said recently that he "respects it" since the return.

Here's all you need to know: if you're a fan of Doctor Who, Michael Grade is public enemy number one.

The best episode of the show ever would involve the Doctor travelling back in time to kick him in the dick. And bringing a Cyberman along to do the same.

Anyone in the states going to one of the theater showings? I'm tempted to go since I'll be on vacation, but I'd feel weird going alone. Anyone considering doing Dr. Who fan meet ups? Nah, that'd be too weird. I probably just watch in on BBCA, but I'd love to go to a theater showing. Knowing my luck, I'd probably be the only one there.

Anyone else think it's weird that they all look like they were shot during their respective tenures, with the exception of Tom's which looks like it was taken on the set of Dimensions in Time?

edit: Actually, Colin's and Sylvester's were later pics too. Perhaps also circa '93.

I'm fairly certain that Colin, Sylvester and Peter's pictures are all from Dimensions in Time. Tom's is somewhere around that time too I think.

As I examined them, I pretty much came to the conclusion that 1-3 are all from The Three Doctors, 4-7 all from Dimensions in Time, and the rest a grab bag of press pics.

teens react is the least entertaining of all the 'reacts' series. Kids react is funny cos kids haven't developed filters yet, Elders react is funny because most of them have discarded them.

Still... I was entertained
