That's William Hartnell??
Almost dead, circa Three Doctors Hartnell, yeah.

Anyone in the states going to one of the theater showings? I'm tempted to go since I'll be on vacation, but I'd feel weird going alone. Anyone considering doing Dr. Who fan meet ups? Nah, that'd be too weird. I probably just watch in on BBCA, but I'd love to go to a theater showing. Knowing my luck, I'd probably be the only one there.
New video of David Tenant introducing the episode... Badly.

What on earth was going on with David's hair in the Ultimate Guide thing? He looked about 9.

Too many huge games announcements. Hell, gaming side is averaging like 35k people on any given day, now.
I thought it was just the next gen launch. What big announcements have there been? I haven't seen anything.

Actor Tom Baker revealed in a recent interview that he would be in this Saturday's 75-minute special.
"I am in the special," said Baker. "I'm not supposed to tell you that, but I tell you that very willingly and specifically; the BBC told me not to tell anybody but I'm telling you straightaway."
And at least Tom Baker's scarf is seen in the special in some sort of a museum, worn by a woman who may be the character of the "Curator," who collects paintings from the character's adventures.
As far as how the Baker will figure into the story, the actor didn't say but did call the circumstances of his character's appearance in the special "extraordinary."
"It worked out very well, I think, judging by the reactions of the technicians," he added.
Whatever the rest of the details, the actor's return is monumental to the franchise. And it is apparent that Baker himself is happy to return. He calls the performance "the high spot" and "loveliest professional experience" of his life.
Just listening to series 7's soundtrack and loving these two songs right now:
Together or Not at All - The Song of Amy and Rory
Goodbye Pond
Of course, they dont come close to:
A Secret He Will Take to His Grave
GODDAMN IT SLOWDIVE YOU COULD'VE WARNED ME A BIT MORE
WORSE THAN HITLER INDEED
TOO SOON FOR POND SONGSThat moment when Smith falls to his knees... genuine tears.
And yeah, "You're sure it was Trenzalore?" Chilling really, considering the implications.

I'm not sure I should fully spoil myself with only 4 days left. But it is hard to resist.
I like what's between the brackets. I really really like it.

Why would they use a CGI 1 rather than the full set and brilliant actor right down the hall playing the part
Don't do it. Your face will explode if it's a surprise.
I'm contemplating getting off this thread until Saturday.
Meanwhile a spoiler hound on Outpost Gallifrey is claiming that the above spoiler is true, BUTTom appears, not the Fourth Doctor. He's allegedly playing a curator at the National Museum when the Doctor visits there with UNIT. A brief one-line cameo.

That 'explore the TARDIS' thing on the BBC website made me really appreciate the new TARDIS. I think my favourite in New Who.
