Creeps now give more gold, plus more creeps around the map in general. Not sure it's enough but it's something.

plus iron talon makes farming more efficient in general

the one thing is that midas is so useless now between blink, iron talon, and battlefury that shit is a waste

400+ games on a single hero is crazy, my highest is 31 on void and that was only because of the hero tracking thing for TI4 lol

How much x150 gold are your supports willing to spend to do this for every creepwave that comes? It only lasts 20 secs

yeah I'm actually curious to see how it really plays out during a game. that's a lot of gold to spend per wave for what it gets you
 
Phoenix got some small buffs, so that's nice. Don't want him to ever get god tier and go the way of Jugger.

Also that turn rate on laser was seriously dreadful. The spell is cumbersome enough.

Midas is still good, just more generally catered for ranged heroes.

Sums up my thoughts pretty well. Tired of gold for crow, wards, and boots being dropped what feels like every patch. Tired of Aghs upgrades that change non-ulti skills. Tired of damage amp and cooldown reductions, that last part feels like League/"change for the sake of being similar to other games" like Halo and others to me.

Still will play now and then I guess, but genuinely only like the "lmao", iron branch, and them finally adding Arc Warden. Maybe we'll have parity by Summer.

Edit: Can't believe they cut LVL? Death out.
 
Those Pudge buffs and the increased spell range item though...

With Aghs and Octarine Core he'll have a god damn 3s hook cooldown -______________-

The Sandking Aghs Scepter update is a major buff imo. Double range on Burrowstrike and it applying caustic finale to all heroes hit is much better than some additional damage on his ulti.

The new hard camp near the ancients seems to have a small leash range so its hard to pull to the wave. Unless you're Tiny, you easily toss it to the wave on Dire.

Can toss it to the mid wave or bot wave.

It only adds those seconds to abilities that were on CD at the moment he casts it, it's not that insane. I like it though, so unique.

Yeah, I don't get why people would complain about changes that make it more feasible and tempting for supports to buy the items they need to make for more interesting matches, and for carries to not divert their core items as much when supports are being greedy and not buying them. Having too many of these items is impossible with the timers attached to them, and it means there's less of an excuse to not buy them.

You could argue that this means supports get their items faster which speeds up the game, but I don't think it'll make that big a difference in that regard. Low-skill supports will buy more support items instead of acting greedily now (we can only hope!) or continue not buying them, which won't change their meta. Higher-skill supports can use the extra gold to reinvest in more support items, and yeah, they'll probably get their items faster. But these changes amount to what, 200 gold for game max?

The only place this will speed things up is in pro games, and supports there tend to be dirt-poor anyway.

Or, they play support and enjoy the early game and doing the most they can without getting #items for free every 5 seconds, thanks to gold buffs to make everything cheaper for 5 patches now.

But hey, maybe I just don't play support.

as someone who plays support im all for cheaper items. if i have a better chance to be useful outside of wards mid game then fuck yeah. sometimes you just get knocked down enough where you never really transition to getting much past boots, but im also a shit player

a lategame position 5 vs is still gonna get 2shotted by any carry, especially if taking bonus damage. I can imagine there will be a few scenarios where enabling her to cast out a single spell can influence a fight but I don't imagine too many vs players will be donating 4k gold over other items. Agh scepter additions tend to make games like all-random deathmatch more interesting and that's it.
