Target is basically the only place. They are in the video game section, but I've heard stories of needing to talk to an employee because some stores have yet to put them out

Interesting! I'll make the trek out to one today. Considering this is A. under the radar to a lot of people and B. not a AAA video game, I'm sure my Target should have plenty *fingers crossed*

I can't wait to get my copy. Does anyone know when Amazon is supposed to send them? It's still saying release 9/30 but other places have already started selling them.

At this point it’s looking like the 30th is the day. Other sites have seemed to follow suit

My 4 playlists I preordered from target.com got delayed until October 17th. Kind of shitty, but the good news is that this game seems to be getting some decent sell throigh which should assure a season 2 next year.going to pray for amazon to put up discovery bundle and all the playlists this week.

Still slightly confused about the difference between the Playlist and Discover packs. The main difference I can discern is that the Discover packs include sets for full songs. So the Playlist packs just include pieces of the songs mentioned? Also there's no overlap of cards between the two right?

The Playlist Packs are a full 15 card ready to use deck, and comes with a bonus 16th card. Discover packs are 5 cards, not random, that give you cards that go to playlist decks that you build up over multiple packs.

There is no overlap between the two types.

I just got a confirmation of shipping from amazon. Those people that didn’t go into stores, the time isn’t almost here! No sign of any playlist packs or discover bundles though. Not sure what they are waiting for.

Well the game is getting formally released today so hopefully they will be plentiful and anyone who wants them can get them easily.

I know this might be a long shot, but i'm missing the Series 2 Green Discover Pack with the Green Bass Grant Pike card in the front.

If anyone finds an extra at a store and is willing to help me finish up the run, i'd be all kinds of grateful, or gladly swap an extra pack you are looking for.

Got mine. Played a few games and freestyled for a while. I'm really having fun. Everything works surprisingly well, and the game is a little deeper than it seems.

I just wish there was moremoremoremore. More cards/genres/songs. More modes. Maybe like an 'expert' mode where you can earn more points by timing the card play with the transitions (we were doing that anyway). I could see this passing quickly, but it's not like I've played keyflower, millennium blades, bloodborne card game, or many other games i love in my stash more than 5 sessions. This one will have extra life if my kids love it.

A video game pack would be great. Some crypt of the necrodancer, transistor, .... ff13 while I'm just dreaming....

Extra confused now. The Discover packs listed say the same thing as they do on the Hasbro site. Well sort of. One says 5 packs with 6 cards each, the other 6 packs with 5 cards. But the packs on Amazon are $8-$11 but $30 on the official Hasbro site. The price difference seems a little huge considering the Playlist packs are the same price.

So from what I understand there are 6 booster packs that make up each series in dropmix. Each booster will have individual 5 cards so as long as you don't get two boosters that have the same cover cards you should have no chance of ever getting duplicate cards.

Now I'm not 100% sure on amazon's packs myself but I'm assuming they are selling the packs as individual boosters however you don't get to see which ones they are picking for you. So with amazon it is possible you may get shipped duplicate packs. It also seems like amazon bumped up the price from 5$ to 8$ or 11$ depending on the series youre trying to get.

On the Hasbro site they have series bundles where they ship you each of the unique packs from the series in a 6-pack bundle so you will 100% have every card from the series 1 or 2 depending on what you choose.

Not 100% sure on this myself but I'll update you once my stuff from amazon arrives later in the week.

I thought that might be the case, but the two listings specifically state "This bundle includes the complete 6-pack Series 2 (or 1) collection". I ordered one of each so I guess I'll see.

Unfortunately online seems like a cluster with most sites treating the discovery’s like a magic the gathering type random card pack. Hopefully they fix this for the next sets of cards that drop later this year as going to stores seems to be the best way to get all your ducks in a row (and for everybody seems to require multiple stores)

Amazon had every playlist pack up early yesterday morning but 3 of the packs sold really fast forcing the 3rd party scalper vendors as the current price.

Game seems to be selling though...good news for season 2!

I think I read somewhere that if you sign up for Hasbro's mailing letter, you get 20% off your first purchase from the Hasbro store. Anybody have more details on that?

So I was only able to find one local Target (about 20 miles away) that stocked the game at all - I was able to grab the main unit and two of the larger card packs (Rock, Hip-Hop). No 5-card packs at all. Two other Targets nearby not only don't have it, but don't have any plans to stock it according to their inventory.

Considering the lack of advertising and widespread availability, it almost seems like Hasbro sent this out to die. Either that, or they're giving it a smaller-scale trial run before wider release...

I just ordered all 4 playlist packs from the Hasbro online store. They also have two bundles of Discovery cards "Coming soon".

Grabbed 5 season 2 discovery packs and the pop pack from a local target.... I really want the rest of those "full" set packs. Haven't seen season 1 discovery packs yet.


My wife was rolling her eyes when I bought the game but now she really enjoys it.

I played last night, some Freestyle by myself and some Party mode with my wife. Party mode is surprisingly hectic even with just two people, I can't imagine what it's like with more. Anyway I really enjoyed it even though I know probably less than half of the songs and I plan on trying to get all the card packs.

Everybody I’ve shown this game to has fell in love with it. Hasbro needs to find some way of showing this lightning in a bottle in a commercial rather then some random hipsters dancing and throwing cards down.

I have no idea how they will do that though....

Yeah, what the hell. I ordered both the Series 1 and 2 packs because it said "This bundle includes the complete 6-pack Series 1 collection." and "This bundle includes the complete 6-pack Series 2 collection." on their pages Product Description. I guess I should have figured by the items pricing it wasn't the whole set, but that's what it says in it's description. These sets are usually only $5 too? I paid $12 for one and $8 for the other. Lesson learned I guess. I feel dumb.

I managed to find the Pop and Electronic packs locally (well, almost locally - I had to cross over into Vancouver from Portland), and they also had one discovery pack (series 2). They only had one of each, so I cleared them out. They also had one of the kiosks, which neither of the other Targets I'd been to had set up - they're kind of annoying since they call out to you when you get near them, but I could see them motivating someone to try it out. Now I'm in a position where I need the discovery packs, but they're nowhere to be found. Hopefully the Hasbro site will put up some more.

Actually found the last Discover pack I needed. Turns out Funagain Games is selling each individually. I couldn't resist since it was the last one, even with dumb shipping.
