You're not making yourselves look any better by beating the same dead horse over and over again Portugal-GAF. While what you say is true, we've had decisions in our favor too along the years. That's how it is. Spain weren't convincing in that game but you know very well we weren't either.
The best we can all do is hope there won't be bad calls this time around. I wish that for both teams.

I'd love for Portugal to give Spain a real go but I just can't see that happening. No team can play "as they do" because they never play against a team that has 70% possession of the ball.As one of our players said, 4-0 won't happen again, and of course I'm not expecting it to happen. And you know friendlies count for little, but it's a result that shows something. I think France had enough quality to play head on against Spain, but all the changes they made for the game tells me they opted to defend and play counter, and that won't work. Spain's defense might be best in tournament but that doesn't make them a perfect defense. Just the best in the tournament.
I expect it to be hard, but not impossible. Putting the right elements together, I'd say 50-50. That means sticking to playing as we always do, no matter what, and having our team be at their best, which I honestly thought wouldn't happen at this Euro, but clearly they've exceed my expectations and I think they're playing very well.
I'm far from being biased or anything like that, football is just a sport. We win, we win, we lose, we lose. I don't care much after it's over. Most of all I want a great semi. These are my opinions but if in the end Spain demolish us, I can't say I wasn't expecting it, they can pull off anything.

Personally I'd rather see a team at least try to play their way and get slaughtered than just concede possession so I hope you are right that the team selection will show this.
BTW Italy gave Spain a really good game and opted to play with 3 at the back which was so awesome, so yes they are not perfect.

Pirlo made a good point after the game...he said Hart was being a twat with facial expression and talking etc so he thought he would put in a chipped penalty in order to get to him and the next takers...and that's exactly what happened...

To be fair Hart was the only one who looked confident. The being a "twat" thing is normal amongst goalkeepers in that situation. Some wave about and bend their knees, some fire banter off.

Nope it was a fair challenge that the keeper failed to get to. Owen went for the ball, the keeper came late, fucked it up and Campbell's goal should have stood.

Exactly - it's an attempt to appear confident in the hope they'll put off the taker; it's a completely legitimate tactic [and displays the ignorance of anyone would bashing Hart for doing so]. Not to mention in these kinds of situations the goalkeeper has nothing to lose given they're not expected to save a penalty.

First 2 aren't dives, just theatrics. Dives = faking a fault, theatrics = overselling the faul.
He guys, you know, referees and their assistants are people, people sometimes takes wrong decisions. Every team in the world has suffered at least once a bad call from a referee, and every team in the world has lost/win a game at least 1 because of a situation like that. Yeah Pepe is a fucking beast. Well, in both senses of the word. I don't like when he goes overboard with theatrics, but he seems to be everywhere and very rarely makes a mistake. His aggressiveness is his biggest asset, believe it or not, but with it sometimes come some bad challenges too.

As far as I know they just practiced penalties as there wasn't any coverage in the Italian press of watching videos (it's possible ofcourse)...Prandelli made it a point to say he wanted to avoid penalties altogether though and that any video watching would be match analysis to win the match in normal time...
