If an attack on a property like a game or a musical act becomes an attack on anyone who likes it, that's unsustainable. You shouldn't view it as such.
For instance, I love Dark Souls, and I hate Uncharted.
If someone attacks Dark Souls -- Even if they specifically do it to try to get a reaction out of me -- I honestly don't care. I don't have my identity wrapped up in something that I like. It's just a thing that I like.
Likewise when I bash UC4 to hell and back for being a boring piece of shit I'm not in any way attacking people who enjoy it, like Lili or Emily or whoever else. We're not all looking for the same things and we don't all get the same things out of an experience.

While it's true that some rather aggro stuff is becoming way too mainstream (I don't admonish porn, but it is definitely becoming more and more the kind of sex ed kids are not getting in high school, which is very troubling), you also have classier firms like X-Art, Colette and Met Art X producing films that are more agreeable to most people, including couples.
A lot of porn seems to make the women seem subservient and sort of a thing for some gross creepy guy to consume and use up. I understand people have their kinks, but the overall fantasy frequently on display here seems to be that of revenge or frustration.
I think something more erotic would be if it was more mutual and loving. Maybe I'm old fashioned.
That said, if I beat off it's normally in the shower because ew, and so porn isn't really a major part of my life.
