So I got a promotion at work which is good but it also means that I actually have to work which means that I won't be able to really dick about on fake gaf all day anymore.
I'm torn because work sucks but I need the money to support my family. I'm sure at some point I'll figure out a way to stealthily fake GAF.

Re opinions and calling something overrated, is it really so hard to just say you don't like a thing? When you say something is overrated you're saying other people's opinions are wrong or at least less valuable than yours. No idea why calling something overrated is putting something down. Sometimes things can be good but overrated by a group of people and doesnt make it in any way more or less better or worse than what it is. Its simply saying there is a big group of people making it seem like its this big thing that in someone's opinion isn't. Also I don't see how that lift anyone up cause everyone in the end have different opinions on things that are simply up for debate. The people having trouble is the ones who take 1 person's opinions too seriously and make it a bigger deal than what it actually is IMO

By others, maybe, but I see Bethesda games pretty clearly at this point. I know exactly what I'm getting when they put out a game.. There's even an odd comfort in that. Fallout 4 was almost exactly what I expected. I enjoyed it despite their arguable lack of vision and some, in my view, design blunders.

I constantly shit on Bethesda but it is pretty much cause I feel they could be doing more than the things they are actually doing. I get frustrated cause I like the ideas behind their games but the execution on game pretty much get me bored quickly and the way they are oversimplifying systems within games its taking away stuff that I actually thought was fine with the games and instead give me more of the same combat that hasn't evolved that much and has never been satisfying to play. I do hope someday they actually polish their games more cause they have great ideas and concepts when they want to flesh things out but as they are now all I get is more of the same with an extra layer of bugs.

Elder Scrolls Online has better combat than the main games.
I need to get back to that game
As much I as I love Dark Souls keep that away from Elder Scrolls. (Also a bit tired of hearing the thing about everything should have Dark Souls combat or this or that tbh)I think Dark Messiah of Might and Magic had interesting things and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare which are more grounded for the First Person type of game. If you want something from FromSoftware you can look at King's Field and despite being dated by nowadays has more interesting concepts going for it than what Bethesda is doing now and it could be updated in ways to function more fluidly in modern times.
Overall I think someone should get on Bethesda territory doing what they do and outshine them to light a fire under their asses to make them do more than their current output.
That actually is not a hard thing to achieve.

On my ancient iPhone 5s from the land before time which I feel no compulsion to upgrade, I still get ads the old size. Apparently Google doesn't consider a phone from three years ago modern enough to serve me yuge ads.
