Same, even if it's shit.=pI'd watch a sequel too.

There's a 99.9% chance of that being a yes.If the rights revert back to Marvel and FF4 gets entered into the MCU, will there be yet another origins movie?!?!??!?
Yeah, but you'd watch that Supergirl show..😜
They'd probably go the Incredible Hulk or upcoming Spider-Man route, originally is quickly retold in the opening credits and intro and/or flashbacks. If the rights revert back to Marvel and FF4 gets entered into the MCU, will there be yet another origins movie?!?!??!?
This movie keeps coming back to haunt me.

GOOD.
you deserve it most of all.
May your dreams consist of Dr. Doom.
Well, at least they confirmed that a GOOD Fantastic Four sequel is being made.
Damn it..so awful lol.Did you forget? It's just "Doom".

Saw this yesterday.
So, the film is pretty bad, but I didn't find it as abhorrent as some of the critical reviews made it out to seem. At the end of the day, I feel like Trank probably didn't really want to make a Fantastic Four film. Coming from Chronicle, I could appreciate some of the elements he included such as the relationship between Reed and Ben. As mentioned before, the body horror stuff was also an interesting take and I appreciated that there was more conflict amongst the group's members about whether to embrace their powers or whether to continually strive towards being normal again. The characterization of The Thing, especially, was intriguing and I wish they'd have pushed that even more.
That being said, it's still a very flawed film. The CG and green screen work is incredibly shoddy and conspicuous. Doom's absence through most of the film only to lead to a hurried finale with him was problematic. There's no chemistry between Reed and Sue, or Sue and Johnny. The portrayals of the military/government body was a bit campy and unbelievable. The actors felt bored and uninspired. And the dialogue was pretty bad at times.
It's by no means a good film, but I think it could have been had Trank directed a new IP with a smaller budget. The stuff that works in the film still doesn't really gel with what is fundamentally fantastic four. But like most things, I think the internet backlash was spoke more dramatically than was really warranted of the film.
it could have been a fine origin story if the stuff introduced in the first half had any impact on the Second part of the movie.
Maybe if this super heroe movie had action scenes ?
The origins of the character don't matter really ,what 's necessary for a fantastic 4 movie is how the 4 are behaving and this movie missed all the mark.
Should they get they powers by travelling ? should they get their powers by being hit by a solar flare ? or something else entirely ? NOT important.
Fantastic 4 is about discoveries, exploration, pushing the boundaries ...none of that is in this movie
Fantastic 4 is also about the team , their familly and how they behave together ... but you have none of that since they don't spend time as a group untill the end.
I could accept it as an "origin story" if the first part and the second part were coherent , but but after the trip it's clear that the priorities in term of story telling went to the ground
And this movie isn't pretty to look at .. it's unfinished both in visual effects and in montage..it's a frankeinstein object
Really? I feel like that sequence was probably the weakest part of this already extremely weak movie. It wasn't a good action scene. It wasn't a good visual showpiece. It was edited, staged, and shot terribly. There wasn't anything interesting about it that I can think of. Even the setting was extremely drab. The final end sequence battle was one of the best I've seen for these super hero films. I know that's not saying much but I was glued to the screen, it was very well done, far more interesting and deliberate than any Marvel film I can think of.
The problem was that the buildup and character development was lacking. Which is usually what I find by far the best part of superhero films.
