It's not bad, it's just serviceable. It's bad when you think of how it could be, but on its own, it's still serviceable.
It's one of the most intrusive UI's I've ever seen.

What a shitty way to give a spoiler with absolutely no context. DONT READ! IF you haven't been more than 3/4 of the way through the game. That said I've beaten this game already. But still, learn to spoiler.
I agree with you, it is intrusive. It's one of the most intrusive UI's I've ever seen.
Oh please.
I read the spoiler
This game has like the best hallucination sequences ever! Vaas is also truly a great character Neytiri...I mean Citra, is a really cool character too.sucks that I just killed him!
The game at this point is giving me major AVATAR vibes. I admire the variety, but the core gameplay just isnt doing it for me. Ill finish it then gift it to my brother for Christmas.
A common trope in 18th and 19th century adventure fiction, when vast swathes of the world were being explored and properly documented by Europeans for the first time, Mighty Whitey is usually a displaced white European, of noble descent, who ends up living with native tribespeople and not only learns their ways but also becomes their greatest warrior/leader/representative. Extra points if he woos The Chief's Daughter along the way; an unfortunately common variation that perpetuates into present-day media is that she will continue to love our hero even if he is directly responsible for the death of her husband, brother or even father.
For the map editor: is there a spawn point that I can manually place in my map? I can't seem to find it.
HUD off, loving it. The PrintScrn option wasn't cutting it, as it screwed up the sun in shots.
Oh yeah, the wingsuit... how does the parachute work? It says to press CTRL to use it, but I don't even know if it's working for me. Half the time I end up faceplanting into the ground and dying instantly, so I try to aim for bodies of water... obviously this isn't ideal. Do I have to slow up or do anything in particular before the parachute will work?
You changed croutch to CTRL? If so, hit c on your kb to deploy. I think it's a bug, where it doesn't bind all "c" functions to whatever you set it to with a rebind.
What's with the Alice in Wonderland quotes?

In the Add Objects menu go to Gamemodes > Global.
Shot a molotov right as a charger was about to throw it at me. It blew up in his hand and set him on fire.

Wingsuit controls aren't configurable at all. Fucking pisses me off, because I use ESDF for movement and A for crouch. This has happened in multiple PC ports recently... vehicle controls aren't configurable.
I loved those. I take it they represent the descent into madness.
Alice in Wonderland can be interpreted as Alice descending into insantiy. Which honestly is the correct way to look at the story. Nearly everyone she meets is also insane.
Yeah that basically happens every time you shoot them.
Between the Komodos and the Cossawaries, the area around the old mines is the closest a game has come to JP in years, why doesn't somebody at Square/UBI greenlight a goddamn Dino survival game with this engine already

Everyone jokes about this, yet everyone know this be true. It needs to happen already. Appease my childhood dreams already devs.

Needed a lion pelt for a wallet. Lion chased some deer into oncoming traffic. The deer made it, but sadly, the lion did not.
Got my pelt.
Sounds news to me as well. There's a Lion in the game? Never encountered one so far.
Box art quote of the generation right here! This fucking game.
So much methodology, randomness, and adventure wrapped into one.
I normally hate first-person-shooters, but something about this game just makes it more of a choose-your-own-adventure. Rambo Edition.
Lions? No. Tigers? Yes. Bears? Yes.
So yesterday I saw a tiger mauling two bad guys. They were on what was basically a mini island. I walked up to the tiger, got it's attention and ran straight for the water. He jumped in and immediately died. What I didn't know is that there was another tiger a few feet away. He too jumped in and sank to the bottom. So crafting whatever it was I needed was as simple as diving down a couple of feet and skinning drowned animals.
Also, what's the purpose of flaming arrows? I shot one at an enemy and it just fizzled out. I thought he was gonna go up in flames. He didn't even die.

Flaming arrows suck. Explosive arrows are the best and what bow users need to have in their arsenal. It wrecks everything and everyone.

Meh I dunno, maybe I expected more along the lines of Skyrim, but I feel like so much outside of the campaign is wasted potential. There hardly is a reason to go exploring, as it doesn't lead to much meaningful stuff, let alone actual story (and thus adventure). Hunting is nice, but I've seen it now. Challenges? bleh. I'm just sticking to the campaign now.
I like the game, but I wish they made the open world more meaningful.
