I thought it had it in the game, so I went back and redownloaded it. I got carried away, haha.
It does not have it, from what I could see.

gotta admit metaphor spoiled me on the traversing. how cloud "pauses" before doing anything like opening a chest/materia/climbing, the slowing down motion and turn around every time irks me.

It gets better, If you inject DLSS4 there is a massive, noticable improvement in IQ.

Can confirm. I did this last night (though I ran it with High preset and it was a game changer (To be fair though, the game looks gorgeous even without the DLSS4 "mod").

A very good port indeed.

How exactly do the map markers of Queen's Blood players work in Rebirth? In Intergrade, each player had his rank icon on the town map. In Rebirth, the map marker of the player (opponent) changes as I beat them. Every icon was '1', once I beat the whiny bitch all three icons became '2', and once I beat the girl with her toy doll all markers became '3' ...

I don't get it.

You want to have all 7 PCs on the battlefield at one time? I feel like that would require massive rebalancing beyond the scope of a mod.

Unless you just want a fun steamroll kind of thing.

I checked several videos on YouTube and Twitch and plenty of people seem to have this problem. There are other reports on the Steam forum too.

What GPU/VRAM you have?

Have you tried switching to high and then again to ultra, this loads entire grass again (maybe it will fix it?).

7800X3D / 4070 Ti 12GB VRAM / 32 GB RAM / SN850X NVME / 1080p.

The game runs really well at around 120 FPS, so I'm not sure what could be the cause. I tried all permutations of settings/resolutions but nothing changes. I tried updating to W11 24H2 and re-installing the GPU drivers to no avail. I'm gonna wait a few days and see if someone can find more about this.

Like... Kalm looks so good until you look at LODs. Look at bloodborne-like tower with glass window. Like.. CMON

I never played the PS5 version to tell you for sure, but both the textures and the lighting feel worse here, than what I played on my PC. But some games look better in motion than in screenshots.

I mean, this is 30fps mode on base ps5, so pro mode is way better.
But I was just curious. I know that on PRO, this LOD is still shit.
Maybe someone will take same screenshot on pc maxed out of course.

Outside the framerate and resolution/scaling the PC version is pretty much identical to PS5, including the overblown highlights.

I would insta buy the game once again to clear hard mode on PC.

I posted in the review thread but the currently play counteer is constantly quite steady morning/afternoon/evening and so I think sales must be decent across all regions, rather than being frontloaded in a particular part of the world.

Seems to be selling better than FFXV, FFXVI and VIIR-1 (much higheer CCU) whilst also driving sales down into VIIR-1.

Good result and the PC JRPG crowd seems starved for something new after a great 2024 for the genre.

I like to think a great number of people were just waiting for PC release. Especially after PS5 performance problems. As far as RPGs are concerned Rebirth on PC is great for January followed up by MH Wilds in February, Clair Obscur looks promising in April too so RPG fans will eat good. And if you have a Switch you have Xeno X in March.

Yup - I bought Remake for PS4, PS5 (never got to play that version because I never got a PS5) and Steam.

Rebirth, I only got at Steam.

Yes, Maximum at 100% (basically this means the 'final resolution' is the resolution you have selected on the top of the options) and Minimum at 66% (this is the resolution the game will upscale to the 'final' resolution - i.e. takes 1440p and upscales it to 4K if you have selected 4K as your resolution).

It's unnecessarily complex, but hey, wouldn't be a Japanese game otherwise.
