okay. those 1 star seem to be common drops.
can someone confirm this? because i never bothered with beastmen reputation ; ;
farming the king is the savest and easiest way to earn MGP atm i think, remember to use default deck and use the plus system
already got 3-4 godberts but no bahamut yet, at maybe 30ish wins? hopefully i can get it today
at 5k points now, i think i'll just reach 8k and get my ponytail 1st
oh and there's a mini cactpot calculator now lol

I think you just need to do the first quest that introduces you to him. It starts at Gridania's GC if I remember correctly.
Edit: Actually, it seems like you might need to be at maxed rep. lol

So after properly checking out Golden Saucer tonight (yesterday was literally nothing else but 16 hours of Zeta farming) I'm honestly kind of disappointed. Pretty much everything besides Triple Triad is lame and even that I've got no real motivation to actually bother with.

What are some of the new skills/traits/etc that you will be adding to the existing jobs?
king elmer triple triad and gates (the dancing gate and the vase gate are very easy)
typhon gate is 100% rng, mountain gate i've yet to be able to get more than 120 points, but that's because i usually fell down a few times, if you do a perfect run maybe you can get 480 like dancing and vase
use default deck against king elmer and use the plus system
get lucky on daily cactpot i guess, instant 10k points, use the calculator that came out today for better chances
yeah the mini games were terrible, but did you try chocobo race? you need to speak the the lift attendant npc beside the main counter to go into the chocobo racing area
played a bit yesterday, at least it's more fun than the mini games
It's so big too. Like there's so much area but very little worthwhile to do in it. Not only are the minigames just not fun but the reward for them is paltry. None of the coin values rewarded for doing anything seem to match the cost of all the items for sale. I'll keep playing TT to get more cards, but I can't imagine how much work grinding away to get to the big ticket items. Not counting the cactpot I hit yesterday I've gotten maybe 5k MGP total from all the TT and GATEs I've done, so only about 200 more real life days left to go before Fenrir mount...

Finally hit 30 cards. Got Titan right before maintenance to make it 31. Tomorrow it is over for those bastards with random rule set!

Correct me if i'm wrong, but can't you get infinite MGP by PVP TT and having the other person loose on purpose?
There is diminishing returns from PVP TT. I think you can still get like 2k per day from win trading though before you atop winning MGP.

Excalibur Zeta is the best looking weapon in the game.I have spent way too much time trying to figure out affordable Bard BiS and as far as I can tell it all hinges on using Flint Caviar because accuracy requires constant concessions in other gear.
Is every job's "true" BiS this gear cycle filled with pentamelded crafted on both sides, or is that just a bard thing? Jewelry I get, but the number of crafted i110 left side pieces involved surprised me.
Just for you, man, I deglamoured and spent the night running around with full-effect Glowichi.
Starburst is was and will remain ugly, and that's just facts. The glow running along the two pieces on the side is fine, but the starburst effect is terrible. And the arrow is off-center. The best looking relics tie the glow pattern into the relic itself; the starburst pattern is wayyy too geometric to work with Yoichi's design.
It's particularly annoying because the base design is respectable enough.

Don't know how but I managed to get a Juinus Sas V....card and an Onion knight card from their respective dungeons before the maint. Are the card drops high in dungeons/raids?

Not really, but they're not like super rare either. I got like 4 cards doing zeta, but for example I didn't get a garuda card even though I probably ran it like 40times.

Yessss that blasted Dreadwyrm Casting ring FINALLY dropped from Turn 10 tonight. That alongside my Lillith Rod Zeta finally pushes me to i130. At this point anything else I get is just gravy. The ring was the last thing I absolutely needed.

They just want to stress-test the instance servers fix they are putting in right now
So, spent the vast majority of the day with hooooooorible queue times, quickest I could expect was a couple minutes, and often there was time enough to do 3-4 Fates before queues popped. Queues finally, FINALLY got better, an hour before maintenance, and I was able to get through most of a Mahatma in about twenty minutes.
Such an easy step, made a lot more frustrating by the servers struggling to handle the load of so many people light farming. XD

- Why don't you get rid of the RMT once and for all?
- What will you do with all old content when the new lv cap is 60? I mean all of it will be mostly irrelevant for all except people levelling new classes/jobs.

That is pretty much impossible lol.
Anyway with Patch 2.5 part 2 out in late March, does anyone expect FCoB to get nerfed/echo/put into DF at all in the patch? Before people move onto Heavensward content/raids in 3.0. Or is that not likely to happen until the 3.0 patch. Same with the WoD loot lockout since the next patch is the final main patch before the expansion.
I don't think either will happen until the 3.0 patch but I can see them doing it to try and give people without a static a chance to finish it before the expansion. (and with WoD to allow people to go nuts on loot until 3.0 lol)
I'll say removal of WoD lockout is a given, echo on Final coild probably. Unlocking final coil however is tricky, too much time before expansion, but also no more chances to do it before then.
