Why can't I manual drive anymore? It was working fine but now it only lets me use auto for some reason.
you can do the infinite stamina trick with L3 as well. I prefer that because you kinda can't move the camera when holding O.
I did not know this thanks for the tip.
It is the first one south of Hammerhead. The one which you stop right in the beginning on the way to Galdin Quay.
You equip them through the Gear screen. It has techniques listed there that can be changed.
Yes, you'll see a meter at the bottom of the screen.Guys,
When I eat a meal at camp and it says "increases attack by" or "increases maximum HP by"...
Are these temp boosts?

Is the FF15 soundtrack buyable somewhere ingame to listen in the car/on foot? If yes, does it include this song? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_ghVl03T-0
Man, better take this kind of discussion to spoilers thread.
I got that scene quite later in the game so I think it can work. No idea if there is any specific time requirement. I just slept there at the motel.Sweet thanks man ! Can I trigger it at any time?
So you can't save in dungeons? I went through the mines, but after exploring for a while I got a game over thanks to that lvl 52 samurai asshole and had to load my recent save right before I started the mines lol.
That's totally old school. I was expecting to be able to save like many other modern games nowadays, but you actually need to be careful and back off when you think you should.
Speaking of the mines, I liked how there were multiple paths you could go.
Good looks 👍Hold it.

Lestallum has some high priced food!!!
iirc L3 just sticks it on auto-sprint until it runs out
I'm broke how'd u get so muchI spunked like 50k buying it all.
Fleeced.
Is anyone having an issue where the map keeps randomly appearing in the middle of battle?
- Music is amazing. We all knew that would be the case though, as FF has pretty much never missed with music. I also have fun being driven around by Ignis listening to old FF songs. Still bummed there's no FFVI or FFIV songs.
The food is constantly making me hungry, just like Yakuza gamesCouple hours in and just about done with Chapter 1. Mostly positive impressions, digging the combat system which got better once I switched to layout B for controls. The side banter is a lot of fun, the road trip setup feels fresh and the gameplay loop is scratching that Xenoblade/FFXII itch for me. Great food renders in this game, always a plus.
Side quest and hunting structure feels dated and the storytelling is all over the place, as expected, though I'm into the world building and the characters. Not sure I'd feel the same without having Brotherhood to inform me of the relationships, it's almost bizarre how much essential information seems to have been relegated to supplemental material. The idea of a lore tutorial even made its way into the game, but it's pretty underwhelming.
Assuming the gaps get addressed at some point but I'm expecting a lot of "I like what they're doing here" mixed with "what were they thinking" in my time with FFXV. Thankfully it feels like a lot of love ended up in this project after so much time in the oven, even if it didn't come out baked just right.
Where did that prologue novel come from?

I don't have access to the VI songs yet but I do have IV ones on my radio. Did you buy them at the store?
Yeah, too bad the sidequests are crap, so far.Anyone else go a bit hinterlands on the first area? I spent 8 hours in that bit, I should have just raced through to chapter 3.
Old school dungeons would have a save point though, no?It's beautiful, isn't it? Also no detective mode crap.
I have this feeling that they weren't exactly opposed to it, though, they just didn't even consider adding it, but would if they got enough feedback about it.
Thankfully, they didn't.

Use the regroup move by Ignis since there is a charge attack done here. It works better this way, IMO.So question for those that have beaten chapter 13.
The ravus battle, was your party just being one shotted by the white move? Like here prompto just sits around doin fuck all, https://youtu.be/vZDHK4nozG4
Some dungeons do have a point where we can camp and sleep. Since sleeping makes the game auto save, I assume the same applies to Dungeons. Didn't test it though.Old school dungeons would have a save point though, no?
Is it possible to nope out of the fight? Just want to know in advance, I've only done tutorial.Only thing this game has design wise that bugs is me is the whole dungeon system. It insults you for exploring by having a stupid level boss or enemy in it even if you outclass the regular grunts. I mean wtf you have a dungeon full of lvl7 enemies then throw a lot 52 enemy that kills you and makes you redo whole thing again. It punishes you for exploring the world they created

Nope. I'm noticing that it occasionally happens after I press square (I'm on control type B). I hope my controller isn't messed up, it's practically brand new. (Came with the Pro)Are you pressing R3 when not holding R1?
Story spoilers...From the timeignis got blinded i wasnt allowed to use that move

Are there any unanimous 'top tier' techs the party should be equipping?
*awaits numerous 'depends on your playstyle' comments*

I definitely bought an FFIV soundtrack from one of the vendors in Chapter One - be on the lookout for that kind of stuff under the auto parts section in shops.
