i've tried adjusting the display settings on my PSPro, but that does nothing. I've got it set to 1080p (1080p tv). my TV's aspect ratio is also set to Normal. Zoom, wide and cinema make it worse...

Depending on your TV (every manufacturer calls it differently), turn off 'Oversan', turn on 'Just Scan' or turn on '1:1 Pixelmapping'.

Chapter 5 here. Not sure but either the difficulty is a bit weird or my game was bugged. I have two questions:

1. Why is the level on the enemies always red? Isn't it supposed to be red if it's above your level and other colors if same or below?
2. Is it normal that level 12 crabs are able to 2 shot you with level 18?

Also remember to buy new weapons when ever you can. I probably made my life a bit harder by not buying weapons that had double the damage. lol

How much do levels matter in overall strength?

I have a feeling that gear and camp buffs are way more important. However there is a food skill called Equalizer that negates level differences between monsters and the player.

They have been pretty varied: find x item in the world, kill x monster (s), collect frogs (lol), take photos, find abandoned cars, deliver items, feed cats, etc. This is just up to Chapter 3.

Does anyone know if this is one of those weird games that lets you use EU save files with US games or vice versa?

I ask because unlike other PS4 titles when you press down on the info page on the home screen, it gives you an option to buy it on the PSN store even if you're using a different region account - most games don't do this.

I'm asking because I'm tempted to switch over to a digital US copy bur I don't want to lose my 16h on my physical EU copy. Urgh...

I don't like how there's barely any monsters around though and when they do pop up, they just teleport in out of nowhere. Wish it was a bit like Xenoblade where you see the monsters just hanging around all the time.
