I think I'm at chapter 6 or 7, I don't know, but I pretty much can't say I like anything about the game other than listening to music from better FF games in the car. I at least don't actively despise the characters like I did in XIII, so I guess there's that. I'm surprised by just how poor the gameplay is, and the camera is some Dark Souls tier garbage. I wish they just canceled this if Normura couldn't work on it anymore, whole game feels soulless.

Just onto chapter 4(at 20 hours), and loving the game. Gladiolus is the bro-est bro, that ever bro-ed. Easily my favorite character in the series.Iris is cute as hell too.
It seems very easy to out-level the main story chain by doing sidequests. Right now its okay, as I'm still getting used to the combat system, but I worry for long term difficulty.

Difficulty definitely was a problem for me and why I might have not enjoyed it as much so far. I've been trying to normalize my lvl to the content but everything still dies so fast. Currently on chapter 13 and lvl 40.

Finished the game earlier.
Really felt like a poor mans Witcher 3.
Only thing slightly better in this game is the combat. W3 is miles ahead in everything else.

I had low expectations and only wanted to play it because I love Final Fantasy. It's definitely my second most regretful purchase this gen, though.

Just beat the game there is good in there but it comes with a fair amount of bad .
Really seem like if they had more time we would gotten something better .
All in all i would say a 7 out of 10 but as a FF fan i have to give it a 6.5 out of 10.

I feel bad for all the people I've seen posting about hours of farming. Got it on my second try, the food that gives 50% drop rate just too good.

I am in complete shock over how much shit is unused and scrapped. I seriously can't even believe it.
And I'm beginning to think that they somehow started making Kingsglaive in 2015, because it doesn't make sense how the invasion is shown in the Jump Festa trailer and then it's removed. Almost nothing from Jump Festa made it in. The Dawn trailer isn't even in the game. When did they stop rewriting the story? Middle of this year? Fucking seems like it. I guess that's why the trailers were so devoid of anything, because they had nothing to show.

Considering how much content seemed re-arranged and reimagined, may not be too far-fetched. Things changed under Nomura, then when direction was reassigned to Tabata, things further changed under him, and then those things changed lol. Tbh I think the game is robust and special enough so far to have justified some sacrifices, but there's no doubting that a very different, yet familiar game from a world which never came to be casts a long shadow over this one.
I posted about this earlier my pro sounds like a jet engine when playing this also.

Level cap mode is definitely needed. Finished the game around level 45, had to stop doing side missions because main game was too easy. There was only one real challenge uo to the end, I'm sure anyone who finished can guess it.
I loved the game, a few complaints, but overall really enjoyed it. Well... I am still enjoying it, except the damn find stuff in a circle quests.

I swear to god it's one of the most frustrating games I've ever played. The amount of obvious design oversights alone could fill multiple pages.
And yet, here I am, still playing.

Yeah I have to accept that this is a game that they pretty much just put together to finally throw out the door. It is incredibly clear that the game was rushed. I seriously can't even believe it. I am so sad.
You need it for the ultimate weapon, you can get it from hunt quest lvl 29, in area called Old .. old something from car parkings. XD
I never got any despite doing the hunt so many times.
Level 29 hunt in old lestalum outpost. You get it destroying the horns of 2 unicorns which I forgot the name. Took me 12 tries to get it but got it. The horn is used to further enhance the upgradeable sword from Cid.
Finished the story but there is a lot more to do specially the higher level dungeons.
Dupicorn drop from breaking of the horn.
Only 10% drop though, so get the fodo the increase the item drop by 50%.
Definitely need the food, I did it without food for like 10 times and nothing.

Chapter 13 wasnt that bad. I was also grossly outleveled for ask the end stuff.
The plot is a mess for 10-14, but how the game leverages your attachment to the main group to pull you into the final chapter is really awesome.
The villain of the game is seriously incredible, I only wish he got more time to develop.
I really think the negatives are purely story driven for me. The game could have been even greater with more time to first it all out.
The combat is why I'm doing endgame stuff. The
fight pretty much solidified my love for it.

Naw. Never saw a basketball in the game. Unless there is basketball court in one of the few dungeons I haven't done.

Did the game really open with "Stand by me" while the characters can't stfu while pushing the car? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm half expecting that the user added the song even if that doesn't make sense, but neither does this song's placement or even the choice to use this song at all. It's just pure wtf.
