Without spoiling anything, are any of the other Florence and the Machine songs from that Final Fantasy EP used in the game? Just wondering, as I thought "Too Much Is Never Enough" was pretty powerful and was hoping it'd be in game.

Holy hell, I was 18. Crazy... war, college, work, breakups, and life has brought me here (sounds dramatic but the truth lol). Luckily I got it early and I'm enjoying it for what it is. Hated FFXIII and loved X. I liked MSGV's gameplay, so this is up my alley.

Guys, I turned down the (English) voice volume to 90 and it helps a great deal. I couldn't stand the obvious microphone voice while they were in the middle of nowhere arguing about pushing a car.

Haha. My Prompto has been taking shots of Ignis getting his ass kicked in battle. I'm terrible at the combat so far but it is quite enjoyable.

It looks better and (I believe) has a better overall framerate on pro but the framepacing issue is not present on base ps4, so it probably feels 'smoother'.

I'm sure it'll be fixed with a patch

It's obvious this has not been properly optimized for the Pro yet. It will improve with the promised 60fps Pro patch next month.

It seems to keep looping the stages over and over but you can keep accruing treasure boxes. I played it for a while and received an accessory when I finally stopped, so there might be something there for getting a ton of treasure boxes. Overall though its really basic compared to the mobile version, I was kind of hoping for a bit more depth there. Maybe it opens up later on, though...

Now I'm playing the worst fucking fishing game ever because I encountered a cat on the bridge and I couldn't bring myself to decline the side quest and say say no, fuck you cat, feed yourself.

How the fuck do I catch an edible fish they're all some stupid glowing thing and they're impossible to hook for the intial encounter.

Use the right lure (flan for surface fish I think). Toss it into a group and just tap reel to entice em abit.

Both modes provide a solid 30fps according to DF. Just that there's more frame pacing issues on the HQ mode. Which can be sensitive to people while others, not so much. HQ has been awesome though. The IQ is amazing.

My pre-order appears to be busted and of course Support Chat just closed and email support is too convenient for them to offer anymore so I'm going to vent / ask if anyone else is having the same problem.

I can see my FFXIV pre-order at the top of my Download List on PC, but none of the FFXIV things in store show as purchased and it doesn't show up in my library on my PS4, The download button next to the Pre-order in the list doesn't work (but that's not surprising in the least, the download from PC stuff has always been very touch and go for me).

I would of course miss out on all Pre-order bonuses even if I did buy the currently available versions.

I went to my local TSUTAYA to pick up Final Fantasy XV today (in Japan). There were no big Final Fantasy advertisements. The game on display and video? Pokemon Sun and Moon. A few months ago this was Persona 5. I didn't see any evidence of FFXV's release upon walking into the games section until I noticed a small, white vertical banner behind the counter.

Tech strike so it fills up when you attack. I'd go for deathblow after. Made me kill a 29 scorpion king mob while I was level 11 with blindsides and deathblows.

Man, the beginning before you get to actually play has some pretty bad stuttering. Those videos weren't hyperbole at all. Game seems to be much better in Lite mode once you have control though.

Blink is highly recommended. The earlier you can get some of the first-tier AP gain upgrades, the better.

Am I missing something about Justice Monsters V? Figured I'd give it a shot since I enjoyed the mobile game, but it feels like it just goes on and on, using the same enemy sprites and same boss every stage. After 40-60 minutes, I had enough and deliberately killed my orbs just so it would end. I'm not sure if quitting mid-play will get you rewards or not, but for my hour of torture, I got a platinum bangle for essentially 10 gil.

My stats were roughly 660k and around 83 or so "treasure chests" if it matters, not sure whether rewards are tied to score or number of treasure chests acquired. The help text fails to explain any of that.

I bet right after I post this, I'm gonna find some flyer or NPC inside the shop that explains everything about rewards.
