Fans routinely pick awful things in my experience. Especially when its Japanese kids. This is how Snow gets chosen due to popularity instead of better characters existing in FFXIII, like Fang. Or how Seifer gets picked over better characters existing in FFVIII, like, oh, everyone who isn't Irvine.

At least they got the girls right. Cordelia and Tharja = yes please. Coulda had us some Olivia, but then, her dancer outfit was already so revealing as is. I do agree that for 3 bucks I should've gotten more than 4 shots, and 1 of them censored to make it look like Chrom was standing behind Tharja.

If you go out of your way to make sure Chrom isn't next to any girls up until the Olivia chapter and join Chrom and Olivia at the hip, yes.

Yes.

Don't do any supports with any of the other females that can pair with Chrom, or marry/kill them off before Chapter 11.

Then during Chapter 11, pair up Olivia with Chrom. The rest happens automatically.

She's not the default, but she has the highest priority if the support levels are even.

If you don't support Chrom with any of his potential spouses, even Olivia, he'll marry a random NPC.

Chapter 12 or 13, IIRC. There's no paralogue. You'll see when she joins you automatically.
