Fire Emblem Awakening |OT2| PAL reinforcements

So theoretically if you keep reclassing when you hit level 20 can you just keep getting stats foreverrrrrrrrrrr?
Every class has their hard stat caps (short of Limit Breaker), but there's no end to the amount of levels you can obtain, yes. It just gets harder every time you reclass.

I don't get stat inheritance. Does it effect growth or is it a boost to base stats? What does such and such gives such and such baby +_ mean?

It's both.

The following is all from Serenes.

Base Stats http://serenesforest.net/fe13/char_base.html#children

The childrens' actual base stats = [(mother's current stats - mother's class base stats) + (father's current stats - father's class base stats) + child's absolute base stats] / 3 + child's class base stats

Growths. http://serenesforest.net/fe13/char_growth.html#children

Note: The children's actual growth rates = (Father's growth rates + Mother's growth rates + Child's absolute growth rates) / 3

The base growths are the average of the parent's growths and the kid's base growths. Then you add the 'class' growth rate to that to get the final growth rates.

Modifiers

The modifiers for children characters are equal to (their father's modifiers + their mother's modifiers +1). If your Avatar pairs with a children character, Morgan does not receive the +1 to his/her modifiers.

Stat caps are based on modifiers that are assigned to the parents. I don't want to copy pasta the entire chart, but Serenes has them here.

http://serenesforest.net/fe13/char_max.html

Then you add in the class stat caps to get to that character's individual cap by each class.

How the fuck is Chrom and my Avatar not at S yet? I've been pairing them up for most of the game, only not when I was getting them the ladies.

Thanks Metroidvania. That's some serious shit

Would it be fair to say that if I wanted to produce a the best Sorcerer Noire Mag wise I should go Henry as the father, Highest Str Kjelle go with Vaike etc. At a glance it seems to work that way but I'd prefer to not crunch the numbers if I don't have to.

Ricken!Noire can have higher Mag than Henry!Noire since Ricken's Mag modifier is 2 rather than Henry's 1.

Ok, so who was the one that suggested there should be a GAF Plays Path of Radiance thread? Because I just got Dolphin working and I'm ready to try my luck with the game again now :I

You'd have to go ricken as the father for Noire, because she would have access to tomefaire that way. (+5 to magic while using a tome) and wouldn't why having Henry as the father. Strongest (non-morgan child) possible is using Vaike+Cherche.

Just finished it. Phew, that has to have been one of the best and longest handheld games I've played in a good while, not counting Pokemon.
lol at it saying that Vaike returned to the streets and was hailed a hero. He had 0 battles and 0 victories, I guess it doesn't take much to steal all the fame huh.

Alright then.

Should I pass her ignis or Sol?

Since Morgan's a wyvern rider ... I think the mom's cherche. You probably want to pass off axefaire to her (male exclusive skill) and well if you married Cherche your Morgan is going to have alot of str (her modifers favor str hardcore).

Hmm, thinking that I kinda messed up though. My avatar has his asset in defense I believe.

How do we check after the fact?

You can check after the fact after you capped stats, which is probably a bit later.

Cherche gives +3 str/ +2 def perfect mom for a slow tank and -1 skl/spd and =2 res. I'd pass off axefaire (something Morgan can't get normally) or rally str/counter, but it's really not a big deal

Axe faire does seem pretty nice though.

Dunno if I want to go general for that weakness to magic. Seems like endgame is just full of magic users.

At least with wyverns I have enough maneuverability.

What the most powerful weapon in the game in terms of straight MT? That includes forged weapons.

I think the Hauteclere is 21, forged Hector's Axe is 20, forged Alm's Blade is 20.

Kinda wanted to share this photo block I got made :) Love it.

Well the highest base MT is Hauteclere with 21.

The highest base MT for a weapon that can be forged is 15, which is Alm's Blade, Aversa's Might, Silver Axe, Hector's Axe, Superior Axe and Glass Axe.

And you can forge a max of 5 additional might, so 21 is the highest with the set of 20's following afterwards.
