Well, there's quite a few games I can imagine leading to daily (or near daily) play. Mostly multiplayer focused stuff like Halo, Titanfall, Forza (I've got over 150 hours in FM5 pretty much entirely offline for example). This doesn't even take into account that a preference for specific exclusives may cause someone to buy multiplats for that console as well, in order to play them with the same people, or just for convenience. I have Destiny on XB1 rather than on my PS4, so his lack of PS4 use may actually be primarily due to a lack of interest in its exclusives, which is also causing him to not use it for multiplats also. He didn't actually claim there to be nothing at all on PS4 for him, just not enough for him to feel it's been worth the purchase so far.
Did you ask the same question to people saying they mainly play their PS4? I find it interesting that you asked this of someone that says they mainly play the Xbox One. You do realize the Xbox One has as a lot of games and others things to do on it as well right?
I see. The MP was my guess, but I keep hearing how Titanfall has been abandoned (may be GB hyperbole) and I thought MCC wasn't still a good experience online. It's too bad because I was going to buy the One last Christmas until that turned out the way it did. Thanks for the response. Also that's nuts that you ahve over 150 hours in Forza. I was too bad at Forza 3 to play that much.
Could really have done without the PS4 purchase to be honest, but I didn't know that I wouldn't enjoy Driveclub or Bloodborne very muchAssumed I'd be properly into both, but it hasn't happened and now the PS4 just sits there waiting for something.

I don't ask them because I have a PS4 and I am more familiar with the catalog. I play Rocket League every day, which is something not yet on Xbox.
Maybe it came off as pure console fanboyism to you, but I really wanted to know what games that user likes so much on the One that gets him to play daily.
Dude you don't have both consoles why are you even commenting in the thread?

I'm exactly like OP. I have a PS4 and Wii U. Almost bought the One, then reconsidered. Eventually I will buy the Xbox One, Just not sure when yet.
Why would you buy an xbox one when you don't feel as though there's anything on the console that anyone would play on a daily basis?
Loved Dark Souls immensely and got all the achievements twice for some insane reason. Why didn't you get in to Bloodborne Woff? I thought you liked Dark Souls.
Exactly?

I don't really do any gaming on my Xbox One, but use it all the time for watching TV...so I guess?

As for Bloodborne, I'm not able to see what I'm doing wrong - the impression I get from this game is that I should just guhh et better at uhh well y'know all of it I guees? I can't even just go off and upgrade the shit out of my gear.
Another thing that I haaaatttteeee is spending resources for using fundamental mechanics: healing and parrying. Unless I'm playing the game wrong. Also having to teleport back to that shed to do anything is annoying as fuck.
I might be missing something, but Bloodborne is trying its best to make me suffer without reward.
Bonus points if you have a gaming PC too.
I own a PS4 and Wii U. The latter is for those sweet Nintendo games, and the former is my go-to for third party fare for this generation, along with Sony exclusives.
Anyway, a close buddy of mine offered to sell me his Xbox One for the relatively dirt cheap price of 200 bucks. I was initially ready to jump at the deal but after mulling it over some more, I found it very tough to justify the purchase, low price and all. I already have the PlayStation for third parties, and the Xbox just didn't offer enough exclusives to make it worthwhile. I'm positive I would've felt the same way if I had an Xbox One and someone offered to sell me their PS4. I'm certainly still getting one, but after titles like Scalebound and Quantum Break and such are in the wild.
Everyone has a different way, and some don't even care, but when I buy a new platform, I check to see if there's at least six games out right now that I want for it. Six is my magic number. It's an imperfect method but it has worked for me.
So with these two platforms having such a massive overlap in terms of software, I ask owners of both systems - have they been worth it thus far?
