I'm done with everyones CE's except Blizzard

Will always buy steelbooks tho if available in non-$100+ version. Getting Deluxe on this one.
 
I was actually thinking a lot about this today. I already have the Deluxe Edition preordered from Amazon, but I might cancel it and get the Best Buy Exclusive that comes with the Season Pass.
Debating on whether I want the Kingsglaive movie and the Amazon DLC versus Best Buy's offerings.

I'm still not sure which to get.
 
I'm getting the Final Fanatsy XV PS4 Slim bundle at GameStop

and I'm also getting the Ultimate Collector's Edition of the game.

I plan on selling the game that comes with the system.

I've waited for this for way too long, its only fitting that I get the UCE of the game.
 
UCE. SE now have my money so the final phase has been entered.... aka the wait for release.

Wonder if I will get tracking details sent to me after I've signed for it like all my other SE store orders.

Yeah, I'll get that one! I have it preordered on amazon since this E3, which gave 30$ discount, so it's a given for Canadian pricing.
 
Apparently I preordered the ultimate collectors edition in 3/2016 and had no memory of it until I got a shipping notice for it yesterday. I remember the website having issues when it was announced, and I walked away thinking the order didn't go through. Now I'm trying to cancel before it ships, but no response from square enix's customer support.
 
I got the regular day-one version for PS4 at Gamestop (with Kings Tale) only because I'm buying digital edition of Kingsglaive and I'm getting the limited hardbound edition of the official strategy guide.

Also I want to grab it right after work and start playing!
 
just regular day 1 edition for me, getting massive discount from amazon.ca. The deluxe edition is tempting but I don't care for the CG movie and the price is too much ($119.99 Canadian Dollars) for just the steelbook. I'm getting the hardcover guide book though which should have some nice artwork and extras in it.
 
Squeenix have charged my card and I just got the email my UCE preorder is confirmed and 'shipping'. Excellent.

but that US -> CAN conversion is insane... about the same price as a slim Ps4.... Any chance that we get the game a couple of days earlier ;).
 
I already pre-ordered the standard edition.
I don't buy DE or CE usually, unless it got something that caught me, but it never has since I don't have much fond to action figures.
But FF15 will be the 1st game that I bought the season pass for the game haha.

I was set on the Deluxe edition thinking it came with the OST. Now I'm torn between spending extra for the film and art or just getting the regular edition and buying the film when it's cheaper and dealing with not having the art until maybe a standalone release of a FFXV art book.
 
S-E just charged for my UCE. I'm still unclear about what content I'm not getting with it. Obviously the season pass is separate, but what else am I not getting? I see an Amazon-only car skin, anything else?

A reminder that every best buy pre-order gets a 10 reward certificate for my best buy members, which stacks with the gcu. So the standard edition effectively becomes 38 bucks. And I'm going to take my copy home after work that day.
 
I just ordered the game from Amazon.it, it's the amazon exclusive special edition with a steelbook.

Deluxe PS4 version. Must see the movie before I play. I wanted the CE so bad, but am not paying $300, fuck that. No game is worth that, except maybe FF7R if it gets a CE. Probably the only game I'd do that for.

I don't get the prequel game (king's tale); none of the DLC season pass, the steel book is butt ugly, play arts are bad... It's like, what is this "UCE" for, it feels far from complete. In a year they are OBVIOUSLY gonna release a thing with all the content. :/

I don't know. I can't justify it really.

I'll probably sell it and buy the digital thingy with season pass included instead.
 
Pre-Ordered the Deluxe Edition because I want dat dere Steelbook.

And considering that Kingsglaive is in the package, it's not even that expensive.
 
UCE, squeenix already charged me.

If I don't get a delivery confirmation by the end of the month, I'm going to dispute this so fast their heads are going to spin.
 
I'm almost tempted to buy it for Xbox One, because I can't afford a PS4 Pro and just *knowing* I could be playing a slightly upgraded experience is enough to offend my delicate sensibilities. However, that would be self-defeating, as the baseline PS4 version is still the second best option.

That said, I have the Day One edition preordered for PS4. The main reason being it's inexpensive, and no edition includes all of the DLC anyway. Also, I wouldn't buy the Deluxe/CE unless I had a PS4 Pro; again, this goes back to knowing that you are buying an inferior version, and this killing any desire to go all-in. Well, it does for me, because I'm spoiled and entitled :)
