I didn't even realize they were selling the Noctis PAK by itself, I think I'll pre-order that along with my Deluxe then.
 
Getting the regular edition.

Every time I have bought a 'limited' edition it comes with a bunch of useless crap that I don't know what to do with. I have felt suckered every single time.

I'm also one of those people excited to play it on a Pro though.
 
This thread has reminded me I need to cancel my uce. I have gone for the cheapest edition from game so I get the King's tale game and brought the special edition film bluray that comes with extras that come with uce. If it wasn't for the stupid way square split stuff up I would have kept the uce.
 
Just the standard version for €17 after a trade in.

Collectors editions are never worth it to me, just stuff I'll only look at once.
 
For those with a UCE preorder and thinking of cancelling, you may want to hold off until near launch. On ebay its $600+ to buy a preorder, and if the game doesnt get any more allocation, you can basically sell it for a huge profit - perhaps enough to afford a PS4 Pro.

There is a waiting list on the store page for it, and if more allocation becomes available and prices look like dropping, cancel the preorder at that point - just make sure before the item ships.
 
Regular edition (preordered at Gamestop so I can get that PSN game...)

Hated Kingsglaive so happy I didn't get that version.

I wouldn't be even a little surprised if they release a CE for every single part, and then a "Complete CE" for the whole dang thing.

You think they've been crazy with the FFXV marketing, just wait until the remake rolls around.

Some people just don't try to use the secondary market like that. Why I didn't go forward and order a second one even though I got two waiting list emails for it.

It's what I expect. The hard part would be waiting until the last part is out to get the full version.

Oh sure, plus its a hassle. I wouldnt personally buy and sell it for $300 profit but for many people thats a lot of money for video games.

Personally I am on the waiting list for UCE and I hope it doesnt come up, because its ridiculously expensive but as a huge FF fan I wont be able to resist buying it (and opening/playing it vs collecting or selling)
 
Still on the fence for keeping my UCE. $300 is a lot for a collector's that doesn't even include a season pass. That Noctis figure would just collect dust on my shelf as well. Am I'm crazy to keep it lol?
 
Deluxe. Idk how you could go on living if you had that game on your shelf and couldn't see that dope as fuck Amano cover art every time you glanced at it.

I went to the SE store the second the UCE was announced. It looked a bit more luxurious than the usual SE Collector's Editions which usually run $90ish. I figured I'd splurge the extra $50 or whatever more it'd cost.

$300.

Laughed, closed tab, ordered Deluxe from Amazon.

I like the Deluxe steelbook more thanthe UCE steelbooks anyway.
 
I had the ridiculous edition pre-ordered for some time, but ended up cancelling it. $300 is a bit much for one game. So I'm sticking with my back-up copy from Amazon. It works and I'm sure SE will reprint the art books and stuff from the UCE too.
 
PS4, still on the fence about getting the game for myself, but I may cheat and get it for my nephew since he like World of FF, and later borrow it, holding out hope for a _ _ version.
 
I cancelled my UCE. $300 is way too much. In hindsight, its probably wasn't a good idea to order on impulse.
I ordered the Deluxe Edition for that awesome steelbook. Couldn't care less about Kingsglaive though.
