If Ferrari seriously think that tyre deg is a thing in 2017 they deserve to lose. These softs can go race distance and more.

Pirelli should bring ultra softs, super softs and softs to every race instead of these boring tyres.

No they can't, seriously just wow at your knowledge

Alonso is driving the wheels off that car.

I don't think Seb was going to catch Hamilton with only 5-6 laps to go, especially with the traffic.

wtf at the Honda overtaking.
Wouldn't go much faster to make up the time.

Hoping for the degradation.
There's time in the tyres, though, and no one is using it. The fastest theoretical lap is a 1:21.8 if you combined fastest sectors, but they're doing an average of mid 1:24s. If they'd pitted around lap 50 they would have had at least some chance, versus essentially zero as soon as Vettel got passed.

Stroll and Massa fighting for 13th position. They need better drivers.

Imagine if they had Alonso or even a Hulkenberg/Perez type in that car. Would be fighting and beating the Force Indias. Instead they are stuck with an old man who was never that good and a kid who has no idea what he's doing.

Wouldn't the effect of degradation for Hamilton be much more pronounced if Vettel was also on faster tires? plus overtaking would be easier.

But Vettel would have to make up 20 seconds. Once he got close to Hamilton, his tires are gone.

Again not enough to make up 20 seconds overtake and manage the race.

Just replace the race with another qualifying session and split the points between them. Then it might be decent.
Nah just add some sprinklers to make every Monaco GP wet. We've had some fun wet ones.

A dry Monaco is dire without a few crashes to spice things up.

Vettel would have been close to DRS range now if it wasn't for his mixup with Massa.

Still, Ferrari lost this off their own bat. :(
