I suspect Lewis had wised up to how rosberg managed to wined him up and is using those tools now on vettel
Rosberg didn't do shit. Hamilton wined up himself the same way he did in 2011.

Hamilton has definitely upped his strategic game. He was drumming up the Vettel incident in all the right ways to maximize the pressure. Also his request to have Bottas back up Vettel just struck me as a thing that Alonso would do.

-Circumstances aside, I continue to be impressed with Ocon. I wanted him to battle a little more at the end of the race but he was way outclassed.
Any thoughts on what was going on with the Mercs on the final straight?
Bottas caught Stroll by over a second (at least so someone claimed) and Hamilton was way faster than Vettel as well and nearly got him, after failing to catch him for many laps.
"fun" fact: Red Bull Racing is currently the team with the least amount of completed race laps.

I wouldn't have a beer with any of them except Danny and maybe Kimi just for the heck of it.
Quite possibly both saved all their battery for the final push and turned the engine to 11.
Oh please fuck off with that 'politically correct' bullshit people use for literally anything now.I like drivers with a spine. It looked bad to all the audience who think they are watching the politically correct tv show, but Vettel put Ham in its place. Never lift when exiting a corner. Once you commit to a corner you cannot slow down fast enough if the car in front lifts.
None of those two crybabies are angels. There was shitty intentions by Ham followed by a shitty comeback by Vettel. And it was great. Learn to love it, this isn't sunday school.

Surely Stroll/Vettel would have done the same though? And why wouldn't Hamilton have done it before the final lap?

I don't mind the drama. There's gotta be some to make stuff interesting, but putting what HAM did and VET did on the same level is nonsense.Yeah, although if he said "addicted to being outraged" instead I think he would have made a very fair point.

He was already throwing tantrums before those engines started to blow. He threatened to quit after Barcelona before realizing he had no leverage.Fail to see anyone not getting frustrated and wound up when of the 40+ Mercedes engines used that year I think only his exploded, something Mercedes kept saying wasn't his fault, despite armchair claims to the contrary.
I think I'd add Massa to the list, too.
(And, if we go away from the current season, absolutely Webber, Button and Coulthard)

I reckon Button would be a right cunt to have a drink with. An obsessive pisstaker.
Clumsy control of the car, uncalculating, avoiding questions and stammering afterwards - yeah, sure put Hamilton in his place.
Make no mistake, Hamilton came out of this race very much on top, despite the result.

You want to see drivers with a spine watch Webber take Alonso whilst heading through Eau Rouge or Hakkinen taking Schumacher at Spa by ducking down the outside of Zonta.
There was nothing brave about Vettel sideswiping Hamilton, it didn't take any courage or 'balls' to clip another driver.

Muppet. You dont strike a fellow sportsman in any situation, especially if that situation involves driving fucking cars. If it were any other sport outside of fighting, it would be a red card/ban ect.
I'm sorry do I know you? watch the language.
If you dont agree with someone else on the internet, then dont agree, politely. Unlike racing, here we do need education.
Can call people cunts, can't be called a muppet. Noted.
Both were cunts except for the guy that didn't do anything.I dont care who did what, both were cunts in their way and I want more of it.

Yup. Telemetry passed to the stewards showed that Hamilton did nothing wrong so I'm not really sure how anyone can point a finger at him with a straight face.
Above all else, this is so true. We should relish this. Some people talking about Seb like he just attacked their son.

The difference is that Stroll and Vettel probably had to use it round the lap to try and keep Bottas/Hamilton behind them in the second DRS zone.
Plus, they were probably allowed to whack the engine up to full for that last bit. Given a combination of that, KERS and DRS it's not surprising they caught up as much as they did.
I've got you fam.
I feel like Sunhi, creating art.
Then shouldn't Hamilton have done it a lap earlier when he would have had the whole straight?
*slow mo destruction of Palmer's car*I would love a mode in F1 2017 the game where you just play as Vettel taking down other racers ala Burnout.
