I was wondering who would do the OT as well, I'd be up for it if needed.
Right now it's Zorbsie and I collaborating on it, but we are always open to help. Once we get the Google Doc going, we will let people know.
I don't think it gets better than this to be honest. Maybe some variation to make it flow better, but it's just goddam brilliant.

55" is my minimum. Its the minimum size to get me to give an audible gasp for the Battle of the Pelennor Fields scene in Return of the King.
I calibrate my living room electronics and furniture against LOTR. Its a thing. Its also why I have an extended cut trilogy graded comfy couch.

I got myself a 60 inches tv, and ever since I saw a 70 inches in my friend's living room, I know I need to go bigger. That 80" Sharp at Costco also tempts me every month! If you have that 65" Panny though (my father owns one) I am definitely jelly! Awesome, awesome TV!!!!
i want you to be right, but i dont think its different. looks the same to me. even some of the clouds seem to line up and you can just make out a glimpse of blus sky in the cloudy pic.
EDIT: should have kept reading before i posted. someone pointed out the same clouds in MS paint form (the best way to prve beyond a shadow of a doubt everything!)

Why are they using the OLD Forza logo?
I have bought it for months ago, it was special sale with local official distributor and it was a once-in-a-time opportunity. I bite the bullet and I am happy today (although it destroyed my credit balance for some time
)65ST50 (2012 model, but apparently with much smaller lag than 2013 ST60 models) for 1700 euro. Consider we have 25% VAT here and base prices same as Austria or Germany for example.. I think I made a good decision.
This gen games looks amazing (I had Pioneer 507XD HDReady before) and I can't wait for nextgen. I am deeply unhappy with Fanatec incopatibility, because after the 180 I would certainly go XboxOne as well.

Can you tell us if what we're seeing in those TGTT pics is two slightly different weather conditions (sunny-ish, cloudy, as in FM4) or the differences are just from contrast / exposure ?
if its two different times of day its a horrible use of their time, lol.

There's not a lot of visual difference between them, one can easily be mistaken for the other unless you play them back to back.
First is morning, second is overcast and greyer.
from your description it sounds like a bigger difference then this potentially is. i'll load it up later and check it out for myself. still dont think these screens show different times of day - though it should be a given for fm5.

Yeah from the F5 version it looks to me like HDR is causing the brightness difference.
Looking at the same corner picture, could be the slightly different position or the clouds could move independently from the sun. Sure it's HDR though.

ok, you are right!
the different conditions in top gear track are: a) morning and b) overcast.
and while the different settings make a lot of difference in the car's surface lighting and reflections, the overall surroundings do not change significantly in color palette.
in other tracks like Suzuka and Montserrat, the conditions are a) morning b) sunset so the difference is bigger, as is the sun's position.
in others, like Infineon and Hockenheim the selectable conditions are a) morning b) sunrise,
so again in this case sun's position is different and overall palette is different.
now, top gear is the only track in f4 with selectable conditions, that basically the difference is "more cloudy" - "less cloudy" (could be for u.k. weather realism?
) so I say its 50-50 or more that you are right, while all of us were wrong 8)

65" Panasonic 4k here. Sitting about 7-8' away and anything looks gorgeous. Forza 4 with the TV's up scaling to 4k looks pretty good. Granted no where near true 4k, but it does clean it up just a little bit.
