Just got back from playing Forza. It was good, didn't blow me away, but I didn't expect that Laguna Seca would (I have raced that track in so many games it's crazy). Cockpit view was really nice though. Did one lap in the Ferrari and with no assists and struggled . Basically having no audio didn't help at all.

Did another race in the Focus and faired better. Got a better handle of the sticks and triggers. Started to dig the rumble. Sticks are a bit more loose, but I think it will be better once I get used to it.

I resumed my career mode in FM4, which I'd gotten pulled away from a while back. Season 10 is maybe an hour away from done. Rivals mode chewed up a lot of my time. The game is especially fun on tracks with steep inclines with R1 class cars. Certain tracks though, the AI totally freaks out and basically just kills itself (the more laps, the worse they get) and I sort of love it.

That's going to do your eyes in after a while dude. Especially if you play in a dark or completely dark environment. I try to sit further back, but that detail! Too addictive. 65" at 7ft sounds mad! Lol. Must be awesome though.

I put it earlier, and havent got the achievement "race on all tracks"
I mean, what the fuck how is this even possible :D?
I can only imagine it must be something like "benchmark ring, inverted course c, sunset" or something in those lines. or maybe a dragster track..
so, what is the quickest way to find out which track(s?) I havent raced on? checking one by one, leg by leg is not so efficient, because it only shows if you've raced on the track only in the class your current car is.

I have the same problem. There are a bazillion track layouts, some of which never show up in a normal rotation. You seriously need like a spreadsheet to keep track of which you've done. I don't have a useful response except to say it's a pain.

oh shit if it is like this..
now MAYBE, a good and useful APP on the FORZA SITE would be a little app that it would just bring the result of one single select statement, for the user name, which tracks have NOT being played (not have a time set), where car class = all.
it would take about 1 minute to do the code, and maybe half a day to design a nice simple interface on the web page for this.
just saying..


and while I'm at the achievement thing... I'm also missing the Aston Martin DBR1 to get that other one.. if somebody could send it over for like 5 minutes, that would be efficient :)

I think I still need that achievement as well.

Easiest way to do it is by creating custom lobbies and doing a lap or two on every ribbon. Just go down the track list in the selection menu.
No real quick way to see which you've raced on. It's a bummer.

well I just did a quick sheet, i noted down every track/segment that I didnt have a laptime set on the leaderboards, quickly changing car classes all the way from F to R2.
it was narrowed down to a couple of benchmark tracks and ..positano reverse.
I was happy, I took my zonda R to ritually complete the legs that where missing, did it, done, and...nothing :D WTF?! :D
unless hotlapping does not count toward the "race on all tracks" thingy (while it does count on the leadderboards), I dont have an explanation..
the cloud seems to fail forza 4 in my case :D

I imagine the FM4 thread was mostly about FM3 also, so at least they are somewhat consistently bad at this.

Playing Forza 4 right now, just realized this game uses the same method for hood reflections as FM5. Didn't realize this until I went online not too long ago where I can see the player names reflecting off the hood.

There's been quite a few hints, even from Dan himself pointing to the fact that they are in crunch-mode..

yeah, well i hope they serve them AT LEAST as many fucking meals as they serve crytek's team :)
i wouldnt want this team to go starve on us in final crunch

if you are not showing any video, then tell us how many meals served t10!
we want to be able to determine the quality of the final game in crytek terms :)

Would be awesome if the new build of FM5 showed up and was improved graphically like Ryse. *dreams*

I believe that Turn 10 are so into the thick of it, there has been no time for Crytek inspired meals.
At best, MS suits personally deliver 1 snack a day to the team.
You can guess what that is...

worst case scenario, forza
6 and Horizon 2
will improve graphically like you want :D

'Making Of' videos would require too much time and resources, but there's no reason someone at Turn 10 couldn't hit 'record' on a capture card and bung it on YouTube.

Unless they don't want us to see it, of course.
