Hey sal, I know where we'll be getting our Aussie muscle car fix over the next few months. That Mad Max game will have the Interceptor in it... won't it?

p3tran, you are beginning to scare me.

I hope you don't have sniper-from-a-clocktower on your mind...lol

Incredible to drop the lone Aussie classic from the game. Such a well know car at that.
After debuting Bathurst, you would have thought it logical, wise to have included ONE muscle car from Down Under...just ONE..

I do feel bad for the guys at turn10. 1080p and 60fps doesn't seem like it will be the norm this generation, at least on Xbox one, but they were able to do so on their first attempt.
The lack of content definitely hurts, but the quality is there. The cars and tracks included look phenomenal.

It should not have been a launch game, however.

wow just heard about the track count.

not content with barely adding any track content between 2-4, they're now cutting the number in half?

maybe they should consider slowing their release schedule down to GT pace so that new titles are compelling purchases.

Regarding the Bugatti circuit, the Baddest of Neds (or also know to Mascot as BUDNIP, BADNAP, BATSNACK, etc), did post some configs on FC. Le Mans is confirmed to have Full, Old Mulsane, and Bugatti.

No configs on Alps or Prague yet.

And I'm in the same boat as some of the others passing on this. For me, this one game just isn't enough to warrant a purchase of a Xbox One at this time, especially since the track list is a so light.

Plus, I've got a 6 week old baby girl, so gaming time is significantly cut anyway. Yeah, try to have that conversation with the wife about cost, DLC plan, etc.

And there's still a ton to play on the 360 to get me by (playing a few rounds of PGR4 in the rain quick before work right now in fact).

I'm waiting for FM6. It should be a completely new experience after FM4!

9 of the dropped tracks were ones I liked... I was even in top 10 on Mugello. I hope they put them back. The number of cars is quite small, too, I think I tuned about 300 cars in FM4.

You know after what they did last gen on 360 from forza 2 all the way to forza 4 all at the same resolution, don't be surprised if turn 10 gets massive visual improvements out of 1080p 60 on xbox one. If not, however, then I totally welcome a 900p Forza with much enhanced visuals.

So, lets use your logic, making a car takes millions of man hours.. but they will be able to release 10 cars per month for DLC........

Second, dont treat me like a noob, I´m someone that have been following Turn10 developing proccess since E3 2004. I know how much time takes to develop things and I know the kind of strategies that Turn10 use.

I heard many times how Turn10 was future prooft and how the making of cars never stop and how the cars were designed in several levels of detail.
I ask you this question: Why not make the cars its much more detail since Forza 3?
Why not start early?

Why not start working on tracks early when they had this same problem from Forza 1 to Forza 2 in the last gen change?

Also, whatever Badned said, should I be happy because he said Turn10 was going to drop some contents? NO, I should not.

Do I respect the decision of dropping 480 cars and some of the most important tracks for a graphic update and a rushed launch? NO.

Sorry but you are pretty much alone in this, Im a huge fan of Forza but I dont care to defend what I dont feel its right, theres many ways and strategies where Turn10 could have prevented this. And I believe that lots of contents are being holded to be sold as DLC because its much easier to sell cars when you have 200 than when you have 400 or 500. Forza Horizon proved this.

GT5 had what, 221 premium models and it took how many years to come out? Forza 5 will be much more detailed and instead of simply porting over last gen car models they opted to keep the same quality. I love GT5 but when I see PS2 models within the game it took some of that immersion away.

But I do agree about the DLC, it's obvious they are holding back cars and to have day one DLC is just the icing on the cake. We have seen this way too often for a multiple of games and it's not likely to go away any time soon.

I guess to me it boils down to the enjoyment value. How many hours will I enjoy this game? I've never even come close to even playing half the cars in GT5 in the years I owned it.

Come on, guys. Where are the 60fps direct feed vids? All we had so far is the gamespot spa, and good luck watching it with their crappy video player. Both the Silverstone and Indianapolis weren't even 60fps like they claimed to be. What's the hold up? I keep checking gamersyde hoping to see some direct feed

I wonder if Helios likes any of these OT suggestions.

If I remember correctly, there is a gift reward from Turn 10 for the one that has his suggestion picked for OT..

Fallen Xbot (cannot continue gaining levels in this class)
Considering today was supposed to be floodgate day, FM.net is pretty quiet. A complete car list, but they haven't posted a track list, or gone through features of the game etc.

now i think its just a matter of sites (ign) posting media and deets. problem is, these outlets typically dont have hardcore racers and probably have no idea what people like us want to know. also, they''' milk the shit out of this by slowly dishing out news stories to generate more hits.

Hope drivatar lives up to the hype.

Don't disagree with anything Dan said about current ai and that appalling scripting in 4 got a mention too.

Diet Forza |OT| Contains 20% the content of other leading brands.

Saw a quote from techradar, hope I didn't miss this posted earlier.

"As for the vibe of the newest Forza, Greenawalt explained it's about much more than lining your virtual wall with 42 racing ribbons."

I don't know if that's based on 42 different "classes" of races/cars or if that's the number of ribbons/track setups.

It will be race ribbons - alternate versions and routes. Feeling a bit smug as I guessed 40 ribbons earlier.

That makes no sense in the context of the quote, unless they got the paraphrase really wrong, but the number is reasonable:

Bernese Alps - 6
Catalunya - 3
Spa - 1
Indianapolis - 2
Le Mans - 3
Laguna Seca - 1
Mount Panorama - 1
Road Atlanta - 2
Sebring - 3
Silverstone - 3
Top Gear test track - 4 + drag
Yas Marina - 4 + drag (there's also a 'handling circuit', but it's tiny)

So that's 33 and two drag strips.

Test Track Airfield - ?? + drag
Prague - ??

So, minimum 35 and three drag strips. (well 37, forgot about the guaranteed reverse layouts for the two unknowns).

I'm sure ribbons here is in the sense of a 'winners ribbon (medal)'. Then again, 42 events/championships doesn't seem that much?

if we can believe what was told some time ago, those "mini-careers" each will be a couple of hours gametime, so 42 in that sense is alright

Well it would be 42 x multiple races.

Say there were 10 races per class/mini-career, that would be 420 events.

Do we know if there's anything coming today?
