I love how you spin it.I love those theories that state that third parties are bailing because nintendo cares about the consumer. Especially when you consider Nintendo's account system.

Thanks for the sophisticated analysis. I think many of you are just trolling at this point.
You act like none of that could be why 3rd parties are not putting games on the system. Its reasonable to think this way you act like people are stupid for thinking like that.People who keep touting that line are engaging in some hilarious circular reasoning just to avoid admitting that the hardware is fundamentally too weak to get widespread adoption.
"It's not power, third parties are not putting games on it because not enough people are buying the system!"
"So why aren't people buying the system?"
"Because it has no games, DUH"
"Why doesn't it have any games?"
"BECAUSE SALES ARE TOO LOW FOR THIRD PARTIES TO PUT GAMES ON THE SYSTEM TRY TO KEEP UP"
no as they have the pull of the huge userbase
One of these can be proven.
I see you haven't been paying attention to recent WiiU hardware findings. You might want to check out the WiiU GPU thread. Here's a little tidbit, there is RAM in the GPU that makes up for the latency of the main RAM.
Its a Nintendo thread and the Mods tend to be extremely lazy in those.will end up banned for revealing reality
The online has nothing to do with the physics engine which was completely upgraded in FIFA 13 on PS360. The whole game felt different on those consoles.
for WiiU they took FIFA12, slapped some controller features on it, upgraded the rosters and called it a day.l
Expecting people not to hear about this stuff and to also wait 3 months for the WiiU version that isn't current is beyond unrealistic.

While that could very well be true I personally don't buy it, something feels off about this whole thing. Like we are missing something. There's nothing that "happened" between Nintendo and EA. The truth is likely that EA saw the Wii U hardware and third-party software sales and bailed the fuck out.
so Nintendo is pretty much in need of some good game development related news for them eh when it comes to their Wii U

I wonder if their mostly basing these comments on early dev kits like the developer of Metro: Last Light's excuse than lack of financial incentive and opportunity cost. Crytek's engine can handle the Wii U and its CEO even said, "It actually runs beautifully." In addition, he said later on that the reason Crysis 3 didn't come out for Wii U was due to publisher issue involving EA not being able to work things out with Nintendo.
"We did some test with not so promising results" = Nintendo refused to pay us for a sh*tty, badly coded port of our 4 year game at premium price. Did we mention that the team consisted of the janitor, a couple of interns (from a major with little to no relevance to actual videogame development), and the guy no one talks at the office?
EA cancelled the Wii U version of Crysis 3 before the console launched. I'm sure that had to do with poor sales.Or you're just reading too much into it.
If that were true, then third parties would not put games on any new system since the install base is too low.
Quite possibly, but I can't shake he hunch. The mystery that there could be more to this is alluring.Or you're just reading too much into it.

It has half the main memory bandwidth of the 360 and 1/4 of the PS3.

I'd hate to be Johan Anderson right now, because he just got served.
Then why did some games get pulled, like crysis 3?If that were true, then third parties would not put games on any new system since the install base is too low.
Can I ask what experience you have in making videogames?
I'm assuming none
I'm sure when they find a way to make a profit out 10k copies sold worldwide, it'll get more support.
Ha the Wii u is finished.
LOL..damn
Is anybody ever gonna ask what the hell happened to that unprecedented partnership?
You don't think numerous people have asked already?
Doesn't Matter.
We have cryengine 3
Also check out EA stance on cube and what they thought it could do vs what factor 5 ended up doing in less than year with the same hardware.
This is a wasted opportunity between nintendo and ea as usual. Frostbite on the platform would be great just get the engine running and give it to a nintendo team they can easily figure out things to do with it.

have any journalists though when interviewing EA staff
I'd say that EA's current stuffing of the Wii U is pretty unprecedented.
I think your deluding yourselves, if they thought BF3 BF4 would sell on Wii U they would find a way to port it.
Give it a rest. You mean the same "nintendo team" that can't even figure out how to get Pikmin 3 out on time?
Translation: "Lazy port wasn't going to run perfectly so we gave up."
It is what it is.
Give it a rest.
I'd say pretty much every journalist has asked and most likely been told "next question".
I love Nintendo's games and everything, but we really have to stop with the conspiracy theories.
It's hard for ports of old games to sell on new hardware, but Nintendo should have given developers an attractive system to work with and current generation console owners a reason to upgrade.
It's a shame that so many developers apparently view Nintendo as a laughingstock now, but it's something Nintendo chose to go with when they banked on severely underpowered hardware and a less compelling gimmick.
i'm certain you're right but have any journalists ever actually just typed up that they asked and got the inevitable response, if nothing else it would show they were doing their job and not just being press release rewritters
