Yeah, The Hound's story is over. He's already come back from death and all he can really do now is get a heroic sacrifice.
The Hound's story isn't over until Clegane Bowl. Excuse you.

That's from the pre season trailer, hasn't aired yet. Not sure how Cornballer will react to you posting it. Though I'm sure everyone has seen it, just a heads up.
So Davos didn't go with them.
So can someone explain to me why he went to East Watch if he's not going to go beyond the wall?
Wish I didn't have to wait a weekkkkkk :||||
Is it just me or does the whole grab a zombie thing and bring him back plot feel...stupid?

I swear I saw a flying thing in the background during that scene, it was just for a moment, I need to look at it.
rogue one implies they all dieWhy not? Bunch of randoms grouping together.
I spoiler tagged it.
But this shot was released before the season too.

Awww yeah, Beric bringing back that flaming sword goodness from his initial duel with The Hound.
Three dragons would clean that army up in about an hour.

Yeah, that makes sense but the opposite can be argued too. Everyone advised Robb Stark to take the Karstark asshole prisoner instead of kill him. I wanted him killed then too so looking back that does make me sound like a hypocrite. This is an instance where I separate real world vs. fiction world. While in the real world it would make sense to take the two heads of the family prisoner and otherwise would violate humanitarian laws. In the GoT world though it has rarely paid off to play nice and let your enemies live crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. She already got the army to kneel, shes trying to establish she isn't fucking around and Tarly made it clear he had no respect for her and didn't recognize her as a legitimate heir to the throne. Leaving backstabbers running around in the GoT world is bad for anyones health.
I remember the defense for Cersei alright, and I will continue to disagree that she did it for her family because she didn't. She did it for power. I'm not denying the fact that she loved her children but she still loved power more than them.Even GRRM said every character is morally grey, so I agree with them, leave it up to the viewer to make that decision themselves.
Think of how many people in this thread have put up defense for Cersei's actions before. Evil to a lot of people, but some see why she did it, for her family, which might not be so evil after all...right?
Truthfully though, I think it might be because we're yet to find out. I think it was wrong, but, I also think it NEEDED to be done.
That's the only logical reason I can think of as to what would make them negative value. But I am absolutely sure that when Dany decided to roast them, she wasn't thinking "they'll slow me down and cost me more", I think she was thinking "lemme make an example of these two in front of the crowd for the next person who tries to defy and I'll remind them, look what I did to the last one"They have negative value as prisoners. That's two extra people you have to carry around, feed, and keep guards on all the time. They made their allegiance clear. It wasn't going to change.
Arya getting played so hard. Littlefinger will run circles around her. Bran should probably let her know what's going on lol.
Jon took Jorah's sword. Next Dany will marry Jon. Then Jon fan #1 Lyanna Mormont will retain control of her house.
Jorah gets nothing.
Jon is legit, I can't believe it.
This actually makes me think he'll never inherit the kingdoms after all.
He'll "know nothing" by not knowing what he's worth. By continuing to be Eddard's bastard and not the Targ king he was born to be. This war will be the end of him.
He's the Prince that was Promised. A Song of Ice and Fire.
rogue one implies they all die
Dany looked so worried when Jon said he was gonna go across to capture a White Walker. Anyone denying this Jon and Dany ship better get on the boat before we leave ya.
Oh shit, I just realized...
So next ep, the Dream Team will be slaughtering the Walkers. But then it gets too overwhelming. Jorah dies. Tormund is killed. They're surrounded, with no options left.
THEN
OUT OF NOWHERE
STANNIS THE MANNIS MAKES HIS RETURN AND DESTROYS THE ENTIRE ARMY
BOOK IT
Ramin Djawadi is such a great composer but I think he really fucked up this episode by not having Guile's theme during the ending.
My thoughts as well, don't see what else he has to offer to the story after this. The visit to the barn earlier in the season where the people starved to death seems like it's just foreshadowing the Hound trying to redeem himself in a substantial way. Especially considering how much they focused on his remorse about the whole thing.Yeah, The Hound's story is over. He's already come back from death and all he can really do now is get a heroic sacrifice.
If Sam found out about what Dany did I wonder how he'd feel.
Randyll he'd have no problem with, Dickon though..
Three dragons would clean that army up in about an hour.
Dany dd nothing wrong.
She gave them a choice and he chose to serve Cersei, even when Olenna was still alive.
Randyll and Dickon were traitors.
For sure which makes me think the Walkers have some sort of defense against Dragons. Because otherwise everyone in the South doesn't really need to sweat or worry the Dragons would torch everything and be done with it.
The WW must have something up their sleave
Is it just me or does the whole grab a zombie thing and bring him back plot feel...stupid?
Some things felt off for me this episode. Littlefinger seemingly looking like he knew Arya was following him, hard to buy. One was trained by the greatest assassin in the world the other owned a brothel...
Also Dany non reaction to Jon Snow caressing Drogon and not getting his hand eaten. Even for Dany it took awhile to tame Drogon but she shrugged it off like it was something normal, I expected more of a reaction.
What will we all do after Thrones.....MMMMMMmmmmmm. I'm in love with this show.
That is all.

Littlefinger did get one on Arya, but she's no dummy. She still has a trick or two up her sleeve IMO, and he still doesn't know of her ability yet.
If she was doing what Cersei would have, there would have been no offer, and every single one of those soldiers would have been killed. I'm thinking 2 traitorous lords executed while sparing hundreds of fighting men, is a helluva difference between killing every single one of them. The main problem is she keeps saying "I'm different". But she's just doing what Cersei would do. The easy thing to do is to kill people and rule with fear.

Wait how do we know Jon is the rightful heir, i guess i missed that?
