Wonder what a native version would bring.
Play the PC version with all settings maxed out for a preview.

I have a ridiculous amount of slow down in Leiyu and Mondstat on the PS5 currently. The entire screen is jittery and in general just a mess. Its odd because all other areas of the game have no issues at all, just in those two cities.Other than faster load times, I don't think it will add anything else. Lod times are already better than PS4 on the PS5 right now.

Installed on the internal nvmeI had framerate drop in the Leiyu harbor only on my PS4 Pro. On my PS5 I have absolutely no issues on slowdown or framerate drop anywhere. Are you running the game from SSD or external HDD
Thanks to all the help with team building a few days ago I'm having so much more fun, no longer stuck at lvl 40 with my waifus unable to kill mobs for accession\weapon leveling. 3 of my 4 people are now lvl 50 with lvl 40 weapons except mova is lvl 40 until I can farm her materials tomorrow. I can actually beat all the mobs needed to lvl my characters and battles are over within seconds using Razor to shred everyone.
Yeah, you can say that Razor is a beast ;DThanks to all the help with team building a few days ago I'm having so much more fun, no longer stuck at lvl 40 with my waifus unable to kill mobs for accession\weapon leveling. 3 of my 4 people are now lvl 50 with lvl 40 weapons except mova is lvl 40 until I can farm her materials tomorrow. Ayaka is a Princess of Inazuma, I can't imagine MiHo releasing her before the island itself. I think Ayaka is very faraway. I'm afraid they pushed Inazuma to 2.0. And after Ayaka, we should get Raiden(electric God). Also, that Fatui boy in a giant round hat can be around the corner too.So when the next character will release and who is?
Is Ayaka or that pyro spear girl?
I know a lot of people like this tower defense minigame, but I find it insufferable. I'm just going to do the minimum that I have to to get the good stuff from shops and never look at it again.
Thats where I'm screwed from doing dailies with my waifus for months leveling AR =\ Tomorrow no matter what I do I just need 1 xp and my AR is gonna go up increasing world levelJust don't rush AR. If you desire make sure you have all the materials to ascend before level up AR.
I love it and wish they'd make it permanent.I know a lot of people like this tower defense minigame, but I find it insufferable. I'm just going to do the minimum that I have to to get the good stuff from shops and never look at it again.
Yea i should have clarified, the game mode is fun enough, but the shit around it like managing points and upgrades outside of the actual gameplay part of it is stupid. It could have been simplified and been so much more enjoyable. It's way too much work as is to keep track of everything.Ayaka is a Princess of Inazuma, I can't imagine MiHo releasing her before the island itself. I think Ayaka is very faraway. I think the concept is really fun, but they gutted it with stupid drip feeds and point limits. All my runs are almost perfect with 2 or 3 mobs escaping, but it still very tedious to repeat same stage over and over just to replenish the points. I'm not feeling like I'm doing any progress, I'm just running around arena using same towers in the same positions.
You're playing Hard Mode xDThats where I'm screwed from doing dailies with my waifus for months leveling AR =\ Tomorrow no matter what I do I just need 1 xp and my AR is gonna go up increasing world level
If you need some help clearing bosses to get upgrade materials for your characters, I don't mind joining your world and helping out. Especially the water boss, when you're underleveled for your AR, can be a bitch.Thats where I'm screwed from doing dailies with my waifus for months leveling AR =\ Tomorrow no matter what I do I just need 1 xp and my AR is gonna go up increasing world level

Yeah, would be great to have a proper mini game. I always enjoy side activities in Yakuza and GTA. Customization / base building/ side activities are the biggest things we are missing in GI imo. After GTA Online added casino, satellite laser, strategic bombers and Russian nuclear submarine, I hope we can have more that 1 category of customization in GI...I feel a touch of lazy in them.
They could have changed the view to a perspective from above, remove your characters, allow you to build towers(and other things) with a cursor, similar to strategy games. That would look like a chess mini-game of sources, but nah that requires work.
I'm sure the way it is, is on purpose. Honkai has tons of minigames and games within games where everything changes, so I doubt moving the camera perspective would be "too much work".That would look like a chess mini-game of sources, but nah that requires work.
This. I like it, but it's pretty barebones and braindead with additional grinding for the event. Ah well, guess that's what feedback is for.I feel a touch of lazy in them.

The amount of mini games that completely change everything in honkai would make your head spin.I'm being completelly real, I don't buy this. A chess looking type of mini-games sounds way better in this context than one you have to walk around the stage with your character building things.
For what it's worth, anyone with sense wouldn't disagree with you about the constant gating, whether it be time or resin or whatever the gating is. Clearly there is some value to get people to log in every day, because everything MHY does is structured around that. Log in, do your shit, then GTFO of our servers. There are outliers like those redditors that will literally grind every "elite" enemy on the map every single day, which is like a 4-8 hour grind depending on how fast you are. That's not normal.I love this game and it's nice to have an event with some different activities but damn... It's really frustrating how this game always reminds you that it's a mobile game at its core.
You're constantly being limited in the amount of stuff you can do, usually by the resin, but even when it's not the resin, it's other stuff during the events like how you have to wait for the different stages to unlock everyday. We wanted to play the tower defense mode in coop with a friend, but it just results in 20 minutes session max and that's it.
It will probably be better once the Festive Fever will be reached and we unlock most difficulties, but even then, the market from the event is quite disappointing. It's really great that there is a special market during the event where you can spend this special event currency to buy stuff you usually have to grind for, but... we're only limited to 6 of each boss' stone, so it's really nothing actually. And it's always like that, maybe most people will find it fine and think I complain too much and maybe that's because I'm not used to mobile games, but it's quite frustrating.
This is a temporary event with special conditions, and with a temporary game mode that will soon be gone. It would have been really cool if we could have really taken advantage of this event to grind a lot of the usual stuff but in a different game mode and without resin, to save ourself the pain from what it usually is to get such stuff. And I know you're probably going to say it would be too easy and not profitable for the publisher, they wouldn't get money from people refilling resin, but... I don't know, it's a special event, I feel like it could do a bit more, if not infinite, more than just 6.
Sorry for the little rant, I still really enjoy this game and all, but it sometimes feels quite too skinflint, they could let us have a bit more fun during a temporary special event is what I mean

I thought you got it from the Arknights minigame. What's the festival reputation for? I see that I get it when completing the event fetch quests, but I don't see any metric for it or redemption screen for getting a bunch of it.
I play on ps5 and have no slow down or jitters in either areaI have a ridiculous amount of slow down in Leiyu and Mondstat on the PS5 currently. The entire screen is jittery and in general just a mess. Its odd because all other areas of the game have no issues at all, just in those two cities.
Hm, maybe you do. I know you get 2 currencies from that already. I meant the actual story-ish fetch quests during the event though. They give a pittance of Primos, Mora, and some sort of festival reputation. I just can't figure out what it's for.I thought you got it from the Arknights minigame.

It's frustrating to not be able to build out all of your characters right now and play them at max strength right now, but that's just never going to be the case. It's a marathon, not a sprint, if you're in this game for the long run. This is also why everyone with good sense sticks to 1-2 main DPS characters that they fully build out and the rest of the teams they fill in as they go. I wish I was capable of playing that way, but I always build everyone, always have since my alt-o-holic days back in WoW.
Isn't it's required to unlock new quests and store pages? What's the festival reputation for?
Believe it or not, but this is the most generous event GI ever had. They're giving you 10 rainbow wishes, 1 crown and 10 items to change element of boss gems. Not much in terms of fun, but good enough to login and waste some of your time. That's probably their ultimate goal.they could let us have a bit more fun during a temporary special event is what I mean
Press F5, there's a meter under "Lantern Rite Tales", when it's full you go to the second part.Hm, maybe you do. I know you get 2 currencies from that already. Oh so gating is the word used for that, well now I can put a clear word on what I was talking about. For what it's worth, anyone with sense wouldn't disagree with you about the constant gating, whether it be time or resin or whatever the gating is
I'm well aware, I've been playing since launch, which is in part why I'm saying this now, it feels a bit tiring after a while that everything keeps being so limited. The 10 wishes is actually pretty cool, it's the rest that I'm mixed with, the lack of ressources we can get and the lack of... gameplay we can do. It's still better than nothing, but we're always on the edge of "nothing" even during events.Believe it or not, but this is the most generous event GI ever had. iirc Inazuma was in development before 1.0 release. The real question is when and with how much content they will release regions after Inazuma. Then we will have a clearer perspective on MiHo plans and ideas about future of GI.I've heard the studio was having some internal conflicts about the future direction on how they deliver content and their production pipeline, explaining the possible and multiple delays of future regions
Totally agree, this update is ass. The whole Liyue region has been a letdown for me. Outside of a few nice vistas and the new turtle boss, maybe the 9 pillars questline, it's just been a lot of filler. It's funny that Mondstadt is like half the size, but was packed with good story content, got Dragonspine which was an amazing area (that they totally abandoned after the quest was over), and in general for me at least is a more appealing place to hang out. They really need to increase the output of character and story quests. 2 anemic "go fetch me some flowers" quests every 6 weeks is not a good plan. I'm surprised that China isn't more upset at them. "Not-China" Liyue's archon was so shit that he got buffed 3 times and buffed his entire element, the huge "festival" is a collection of meaningless fetch quests, the story ended up just being a "lol just a prank bro" by said shitty archon. I hope they're really planning on making Inazuma high quality.I'm probably just getting tired of this game, but the 1.3 update has been pretty disappointing so far. Xiao's story quest was better than Ganyu's, but I have no interest in pulling on his banner. His jump/slam play-style is unappealing and tiresome. The fetch quests for the lantern fest are even more low effort than normal (deliver this food to a person literally around the corner and take some orders for more food ) . Plus you earn currency for the Xiao market (and your "free" character) by repeatedly playing a boring-ass tower defense game. I wonder if the devs know this event is weak since they're providing a lot of free primogems.
I know that every update isn't going to be great, but comparing this to 1.2, it looks rough. 1.2 had an entirely new area to explore, better 5 star banners, 2 decent free weapons, new craftable weapons, and actual story content. I know the cube event wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but I prefer something where I can use and test the characters I've been building up in combat rather than cheesing elemental skills in a tower defense scenario.
Anyway, sorry for the rant. Hopefully the rest of the Lantern fest gets better and I'll look foolish for complaining .
Inazuma was in development together with China and Snow Mountain regions, I doubt that they will drastically improve on it. Game is very wide, but not very deep.really planning on making Inazuma high quality
I'm grinding the shit Godzilla for Hu Tao because MiHoYo decided to change the materials to Xiao and her at the last second just to make it different from the 1.3 Beta Test. Having to grind two different bosses for one character is peak gacha game tactics on slowing players' progression down. I'd be more understandable if they were Geo Chars of anything like that, but it's an unwelcoming last-minute change.Inazuma was in development together with China and Snow Mountain regions, I doubt that they will drastically improve on it. Game is very wide, but not very deep.
Probably because any deep systems require time to develop and players will expect to get some kind of reward with new systems. No one is gonna bother with a new system that doesn't provide any resources/rewards. And MiHo is very stingy with rewards.
Look at snow mountain. I go there to kill boar king and collect my 3 dragon tooths (I can't be bothered with searching for the 4th one). That's it.
Same with new boss. (BTW you guys are totally off the mark, it's not a turtle, it's a mini Godzilla and we all know that Godzilla is a lizard). No one is gonna hunt it besides poor fuckers who used their wishes on Xiao. So for many, Snow Mountain and new boss is literally doesn't exist.
I stand corrected. Poor fuckers who pulled for Xiao and gonna waste their wishes on glorified 4☆ with insufferable personality that requires additional pulling on weapon banner to make her workI'm grinding the shit Godzilla for Hu Tao
