Shidoshi does the Dreyfuss twitch at that name, too, it's great.

The only thing the ER painted in a bad light were things in the game that aren't that great. Things like random abilities transferring during fusion resulting in you going into and backing out of it multiple times to get the right combo. The ER was very favourable. The guys were into the story and the characters and were having fun for the most part. I guess them pointing out and laughing at/about the absurdities of the story and characters and dungeons and calling their character Charlie Tunoku is painting the game in a bad light though because Persona needs to be super serious.

So...why ain't you giving an example of things that ain't great?

The P4 ER was great and totally wasn't mean spirited or them going "look at us slog through this stupid thing" or whatever that Altus guy was getting at.

Granted the first few episodes of it are slow and boring and they are not into it nearly as much as they are after the ball gets rolling but hey. Thats the opening for Persona 4 for ya!


I know if it wasn't for the Endurance Run I would have never, EVER bought that game and then Persona 3 Portable and maybe Persona 5 if the stars align and its ever released on ps4

The ER was a great way to introduce a audience to that series who would have wrote it off a weird as a weird anime schoolgirl dating sim or whatever.




Oh and I think its been a while since we got a good old "cognitive dissonance" from Patrick.

Sony has that 3rd party production team and one of their goals is to help drag slow moving Japanese studios out of the stone age. P5 would be a perfect PS4 game since it needs JRPG's so it would be a win for Altus and Sony to make it happen.



sigh...... Its not happening. I hate modern Japanese developers. They always seem like they are one step away from taking my money but they always screw up one major step somewhere.
