I found out about leaving the Lester stuff until the end after I had done most of his missions. Finished the game with 2 of his missions remaining. For the final heist I used all experienced people and only got about 16 million for each character. So after doing the last couple of Lester missions I now have 64 million per character.

I missed out on getting HAL cheap. Looking at the stocks last night, I think Pisswasser looks ripe for exploitation.

If you've finished the game and want that cheev/troph for spending 200 million across all three guys, just go to the LCN stock page, dump all of your money into any stock and then sell it immediatley. Youll make all of your money back. Just keep spamming this until the notification pops.

Obviously this can be done at any time, it'll just take the last amount of time after the finale.

I was too slow using the bulldozer and he blew up:/ I really want to know what happens if you save him.

I think that was my very first random encounter.

Some funny stuff happening with BAWSAQ. I wonder if they're maybe segregated by location - so there's a UK BAWSAQ, a US BAWSAQ etc. There was definitely some discrepancy between people's reported HAL price and what I was seeing both online and in my game.

Ya I am curious about that as well, I finished the story but on the social club site I've only got 50/58 strangers/freaks and 34/57 random events. Do I really need to start a third time to get all these?

You should have around 20 missions left. If you cab it to the mission start points to cut time, probably about 10 hours?

I have that issue, but I found a way around it. Have at least two gaming systems and rotate. It really helps!

When I fell off my bike near the beach, I thought for sure it was over. But I managed to do it. The rubber-banding in the bike section is crazy.

Rockstar should have allowed up to purchase more save houses. The real estate in the game is top notch I would love to be able to buy more houses across los santos.

Same thing happened to me. I took a break for like 2 days after I beat it then came back to it. Now I just drive around. I found the sabre turbo and customized it like the one in the promotional photo. Awesome car but very very rare. Planning to start a new game some time soon.

It seems like R* upped the number of news reports on the radio over past games. They seem to pop up a lot.

I love it. Pretty neat to hear about events you had a hand in. It's a minor touch, but definitely a nice one.

It'll be two weeks since I ordered the game tomorrow and it is still in Britain. They sent the game 10 days ago.

This is the latest tracking update:

Wed 25/09/2013 13:00: Your order has arrived at the interim distribution point for onward relay to the destination country. We expect delivery within a few days but no further tracking information is available.

That's the same update I got last Saturday. And the delivery was only supposed to take 3-5 days.

I've lost pretty much all hype for the game. I should've waited for the PC version. :/

He, same thing happened to me. I fell when I switched to the news feed. When you do that, the controls are relative to the screen so it is super confusing and I crashed my bike against a barrier.

I thought I wasn't going to catch up because the guy in the lead was 2 checkpoints ahead, but he just walked around after the bike segment, so everybody caught up to him and passed him and I managed to snatch a win at like 27:30.

You can read text transcriptions of the news reports on your cell phone, too. I agree that they're definitely far more common than previous games.

me too... I haven't beaten the game yet and haven't done any assassinations but I want to make as much money as possible prior to that ... Plus, I don't want to lose a ton of money on hospital bills so any extra money I get I will buy stocks so there will ba basically no money on any of my chars

I am having an awesome time with that Ortez (sp?) Centre shootout. I knew there was something up when I walked in; way too quiet. Lync-- I mean, Tervor's entrance was superb! It was also a nice touch getting to kill the Paper Company guy from IV.

I don't think I can do that anymore. There was a button to cancel the order but it disappeared once they dispatched the game. I think I can report order as gone missing if I don't have the game on 8 of October and they'll send a replacement. :/

I'm surprised I haven't seen any comments (or more likely I missed them) but there's no casino in the game? I know there's no Las Venturas but it's still a staggering oversight, not to mention another avenue to try and make money. I found the casino by the race track but it wasn't accessible.


I'm also bummed there aren't better ways to get cars. Yeah, I suppose buying them off a website isn't bad, but it'd be nice if you could steal and sell them, or at least steal and create a library of them at any garage (like the Elegy) even if you have to pay to spawn them.

Great game, but there's always room for improvement.
