Am I the only one who is having trouble finding my way around this new city? Everything looks way too similar. In the other games, the areas were distinctively different. You were able to find your way around pretty easily without GPS in the other games but in this one, everything looks the same.

I can see myself go back to these missions to get gold a lot. Nice way to add replayability.

Playing as Michael I decided to check out the therapist session to see what it is.

Not only did that therapist label me a combination between sociopath and psychopath, he also requested I paid him in cash. So after the session was over I walked out angry and missing 1000 bucks. A thousand fucking dollars.
But the good therapist had his nice red Comet Sports parked up in front of his house, so I decided to get that fucker for robbing me off 1000 bucks.

I stole his car, crashed it around a bit, then drove to an Ammunation off the freeway, bought a jerrycan of gasoline, drove the car into Blaine Country, poured the gasoline over the car and.. well, you can guess the rest.

That should teach that little shit a lesson.

I hated IV myself (Couldn't even bring myself to finish it), and I can say that this game is absolutely worth it, without hesitation. I couldn't even compare the two games, really.
This is pure, unadulterated fun in the biggest and most impressive game world I have ever seen.

Haha, that's pretty a funny joke there. But seriously, how do I swap shoulder view? It was right/left on the d-pad in Max Payne, but those are occupied here.

you press R1/RB and it swaps the view, however if you're in front of cover it'll put you into cover mode so make sure you do it away from cover.

Gunplay is better than 4. There is auto aim but you can turn it off. I played for 6 hours yesterday and it felt great.

Cover I would say not as good as GoW but a lot better than GTA4.

As for driving, again I'd place it firmly between GTAIV and Sleeping Dogs. Motorcycles I preferred in 4.

There's a lot of personal preference but overall the mechanics are a huge improvement over GTA4.

I love the random RP missions you take on when you play this game.

Man, I'm usually someone who is a bit disappointed by a game if it's REALLY hyped up, but I keep discovering new stuff, and new events, and new locations, and new amazing missions, and more and more to do and see (even though I've already played for 15 hours or so)... all of it polished to perfection.

Love this game...had to bargain with the wife for a night off of parental duties just so I could enjoy this. Kinda bummed I didn't get too far (really wants to at least get Trevor) but at least there's still so much to look forward too.

Even though it took me a while to get used to it, I will say the games image quality is a bit rough...especially in the city at daytime.

Huh, I never had that happen to me as far as I remember and I'm about 12 hours in.

It's been two days and I already clocked 12 hours which for me is a lot (but hey, I still have my summer holidays). Feels like I've done a lot and very little at the same time - just unlocked Trevor and did 2 missions, but until this point I tried to keep myself in LS without going out into the countryside (outside of few taxi missions), so there's a lot to see. And I realized that the maps indeed put a false perspective on how big it is - the desert looks not that big but wait until you get there.

I'm still getting over the whole "stiff suspension while hitting the curbs" thing, but aside from that everything's brilliant and up to 11.

The main difference between this and GTA IV for me is that while playing IV, no matter how much I enjoyed it, I often felt tired after an hour or two, sometimes even sooner, and had to quit, it wasn't even boredom, actually, just the overall feeling of the game was kind of tiring sometimes. With V, I don't even notice how much time has passed, when I think maybe that maybe it's been an hour it appears I've spent three and I'm absolutely not tired of it, I just want more. Not a minute of boredom with this game, and there's so much stuff I haven't tried or even unlocked. I don't see myself playing anything else than GTA V for the next several weeks.

Good job Rockstar, but you shouldn't have chained the phone camera with the Internet that much, I want to take photos offline, dammit! And where's the android app? Not to mention that Chop training should've been in the goddamn game itself.

Either way, this is a great game. I'm loving it so far. Cars and objects are a bit of a blurry mess in the distance, but I couldn't car less because I am having so much fun.
