I don't think that's it. I've seen people get "Protector" this weekend too. I'm thinking its related with some special conditions.

I'm not really all that surprised that one base is favored over the other, when I first saw the differences between the two halves of the match I thought it might turn into an issue for high level competition.

Yes. I believe it's anyone who plays prior to November 20 gets access.

I'm referring to the player getting hit with a melee and not losing all of his shield. What's up with that?

just beat Mass Effect 3. wow, phenomenal game. kinda wonky ending but still, incredible. An amazing trilogy.

I am legitimately bummed out though, I feel mentally burned. Someone get me some Paxil or something. 48 hours of gameplay where people are dying and it's the end of the world and all life as we know it is constantly on the verge of being wiped out. Started to mentally wear on me after a while. Then I come to this thread and see Gaborn died. I need sunshine and rainbows for a few days.

Great series loved it, probably my favourite new IP this gen. The universe, story, characters all just pulled me in.

God damn, one more sleep. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight...and I have work of course.
