IMO, from my experience, Personal Ordnance is far less offensive than Global Ordnance. Infinity Slayer was great fun, it really pushes you to want to be aggressive and play well because you'll get more personal ordnance that way.

Yea I know. I'm sure Bungie said something about how good matchmaking would be in Reach too. Matchmaking and the whole online experience as a whole just makes nervous in general.

Let's take this even further by adding hill traits that you can't penetrate the hill walls with bullets or grenades. Many people enter..

So, in Dominion (possibly the other team games too), vehicles can only spawn for the team that controls them? That's pretty amazing. It'd make Gauss Hog scenarios on Headlong a nightmare for Red Team but I don't think we'll see too much of that in Halo 4.

Slightly related I'm totally using the link to Frankie's post on building for new players in future discussions. :) What a post and something that constantly comes up in discussions, especially among forgers and those striving to get maps in matchmaking.

Thirdly, the logic of making a very narrowly focused game at the exclusion of all else would obviously be something that's managable at an Indie level, or as a PC game, but the reality of making a AAA console game, and the reality of a constantly evolving and growing Halo, is that it cannot be created as a niche game. However, it does contain niche ingredients and tools, within the very very broad suite of features and play experiences. You can in fact have your cake and eat it. But the idea that more players is bad, or that the core game is being dumbed down, is erroneous.

The primary reason I made an account was to ask Frankie a question about a ranking system. Since he won't answer questions about it, and even if it does, it'll be riddled with half-truths or blatant lies, I can't be bothered to play polite.
