The Ghost of Countdown.
if you get this reference i love you.
Join the laughs.Halo might be the only game that could use a dedicated cynical bitchfest thread.
Oh wait...
You guys aren't making this obscene wait any easier.

Talkin about the ghost of lockout? The Ghost of Countdown.

The only way to accomplish this would be through dedicated servers, which have their own set of drawbacks.I would like to see the netcode improved. For example, no wait time during matches regardless of who quits (host or not). It really disrupts the game's flow when this happens.
Why do you think Bungie never included custom controls? If 343 Industries doesn't either, why? Can someone give a serious response or thought in regards to this question? Keep in mind that actually implementing it is negligible for a studio like Bungie or 343 Industries.A game that barely has any customization has button mapping.

Can't tell if serious. My impression - 08 - setup and focus on other projects, expanded Universe stuff, helping Bungie etc
09 - Preproduction, skeleton team
10 - 12 Huge growth in staff, 18 months of 250+ people working damn hard
Trying not to defend or condemn, but I can't but read via twitter and elsewhere that a lot of the team has been crunching for months, so it's more a question of what they chose to be important.
Which is completely fair to criticise.
See, I get where you're coming from, but that doesn't strike me as entirely fair.
The (rudimentary I'll bet) restuarant modelling likely happened during some late night crunch when you're trying to build a space to test something out and you let loose a bit of steam and stress by trying to make it fun, lighten the atmosphere in the room.
I'd have to assume that really isn't why buttons aren't remapable. It's (I hope) because people sat around a table and decided it's not something they want to spend time on. They want to, oh I dunno, change grifball dramatically.
I certainly don't agree with the decision, but I wouldn't blame the guy who modelled a few buildings either (or that he was allowed do it).
No.Why do you think Bungie never included custom controls? If 343 Industries doesn't either, why? Can someone give a serious response or thought in regards to this question?

No.If you buy the Halo 4 special console do you get all the stuff you get from the limited edition of the game? (Specifically the in game stuff like the early specializations)
So wait, this game still isn't made by god? a;welkoha;welkfja;slkdjf;lsaknjf;laj;lsajasdf. Well he/she/it better be in the credits or you'll get more of my written glossolalia.
$400 is too steep a price. We're at the end of the console cycle, M$ (relevant).Well, guess I won't bother with that then. GG 343

You're so late to the party everyone's dead.

It sounds weird at first but when you realize that most special edition consoles are sold to first time buyers, ironically, it makes a lot more sense. We have struggled with this aspect for years and there's not a lot of easy ways to address. However you could try trading your normal edition that it comes with, with a friend and figure it out that way. Obviously clunky, but doable.

So old I saw it when the Dead Sea was still getting sick.
Wait, modders have attacked Reach? Since when?
What about other games?
So old I saw it when the Dead Sea was still getting sick.
A lot of games have been hacked ever since some keyvault magic was uncovered toward the end of Halo 3's lifespan.
I remember people making a big deal out of an H3 Aimbot that came out around that time, but I have never seen mods personally.
Their still very rare.
Man I love these modders, but they missed an opportunity with this one.
This could be a much more poignant if they used the Jetpack model instead.

Just to focus all your rage on armor abilities.
Also, if they were the ghosts of countdown, wouldn't they be using camo?
Oh. So, nothing to worry about.
Never saw a modder when i played Halo 3 (from launch till Reach). Or in any other game either (that is, in any COD i've played).
You're lucky.
And yeah, modders won't be a big issue for Reach - however, the same facilities that let them mod Reach will also let them mod Halo 4 and that will be a bigger, more attractive target for these wankers.
Yeah CoD4/5 are completely broken on Xbox due to modders.
